Excellent fast boil pot/humidifier
All is great except that the handle and one small component attached to the handle acquired some rust in the first few uses. I also appreciated the instructions on maintenance/seasoning the cast iron in the oven prior to use. I am also using as a humidifier- adding moisture to the air as it has a wide open spout. (Because of this it does not whistle but that's not a problem for me)

Fire place Kettle.
Kettle arrived on time. It was a little bigger than i thought it would be but that is fine, it will hold more water. It is a nice looking kettle. More shinny than flat in color.

Heavy kettle
This tea kettle was too heavy and we're returning it. It looks lovely. Loved the idea that it would also work as a humidifier. But after all is said and done, any tea kettle will do that. Doesn't have to be heavy cast iron.

It worked well til I noticed a large pool of water on top of my woodstove. There was a hole halfway down sk it couldn't be filled over halfway.
