Fire Department Coffee, Original Medium Roast, Premium Whole Bean Coffee, 5lb

I've purchased quite a few different types of coffees from FDC, and have never once been let down. I'm normally a dark roast kind of person, but decided to mix it up a little with a medium roast this time. Once again... amazing coffee. Flavorful, good aroma, and something I would give as gifts to my fellow coffee loving people.You can't go wrong with FDC.

The fact that I now purchase five pounds of FD coffee at a time speaks to the wonderful flavor - and never bitter - brew we've grown to love!

I like trying coffees from small batch or privately owned companies. When I came across Fire Department Coffee, I had to try it. Also, my son was a fireman in San Antonio.

I came back after the holidays after getting the Ninja Cafe for Christmas & needed a lot of beans. I have former firefighters in my family & a good friend that is an EMT with the Schuyler, NE fire department. Plus just recently I purchased the Lincoln, NE shirt so all the proceeds went to them. I of course live in NE. The coffee is awesome in the morning! One thing I miss is the different style of mugs you guys had 😭

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Black Coffee drinker for 50 years. My Friends say I'm an expert because I don't doctor it up with cream and sugar. Hands down the Original Medium Roast is one of the Best Coffees I've drank. Keeps me coming back. My Godson is a Firefighter and my Dad was a Sargent in the Marines. I tried the Original Blend, and honestly, I wasn't particularly impressed. The flavor reminded me a lot of Folgers or Maxwell House--very basic, with nothing that really stood out or made It taste like a premium coffee. If you're looking for a basic, tradition cup of gas station coffee, you might enjoy it. For me, though, the Original Blend didn't have the depth, richness, or distinctive flavor I was hoping for.
