Excellent. Let me start by saying, I like strong coffee. This can definitely be made on the 10 oz setting. I used 8oz because a lot of flavor k-cups seem weak on 10 oz. Not this. The bourbon flavor is there a little more than the vanilla, but I think it would be great with vanilla creamer, I just had plain.

This coffee is good it has a more of a bold taste like it was brewed in a traditional coffee maker. It doesn't give that watered down taste a lot of k cups have, now, some people prefer that an actually used K cups because they aren't as strong. If you are looking for something closer to that full body coffee you get from a traditional brewing machine. This is a good bet. But I don't know that it seems like it has much more caffeine. I would compare it to pete's major dickinson, which is my long-term favorite. But it's definitely not as strong caffeine wise as death wish but it's stronger than, the dunkin' donuts, mcdonald's or the green mountains in both taste and caffine content. The price is good, the quality is exceptional for the price and as long as you aren't looking for top caffeine content and you like your coffee stronger than the standard k cup, I think you'll be happy.

I was a devoted band of LavAzza and Cafe Bustelo espresso for years. This is my go to now. I love the fact that this is vet owned and that they give back to veteran causes. But this espresso is so smooth with no bitterness and it's strong enough that it gives me the cake I need in the morning. The price is right what else can I say? Try it once and you'll be a fan for life.

All coffee seems expensive to me these days but I love to splurge/treat myself to this FDC coffee. I've tried 3 different kinds from them thus far and all 3 are outstandingly tasty! I'm currently hooked on the Vanilla Bean Bourbon k-cups... to me it serves up tasting like a good ol fashioned "baileys" infused treat - so warming and yummy! I prefer dark to espresso style coffees and this FDC stands right up to my bold flavor demands and doesn't disappoint!

This is my first time to try Fire Department Coffee. It is wonderful. I keep a regular type coffee to have most mornings, but occasionally I like a flavored coffee. This Cherry Bourbon is amazingly good. I am only disappointed by the fact the pods only come is quantities of 12. I would easily pay the price for a larger quantity box.

First of all, the name alone makes you feel like you should be wearing boots and kicking open doors before 7 a.m. Instead, I'm kicking open my Keurig and whispering, “Let's do this.” The aroma? Imagine black cherry strolling confidently into a room while bourbon nods approvingly from the corner like, “Yeah, I'm here too.” It smells bold, slightly sweet, and just rebellious enough to make your oatmeal nervous. Flavor-wise, it's smooth medium roast goodness with a subtle cherry warmth and that bourbon essence that says, “Relax, it's just flavor — you still have to go to work.” It's not syrupy. It's not fake-cough-drop cherry. It's classy. Like if your coffee went to a tasting event and came back with opinions. And let's talk performance: one cup in and I felt alert enough to answer emails I had emotionally ghosted for three days. Two cups and I was ready to reorganize the garage. (I did not reorganize the garage, but spiritually? I was there.) Bonus points for the fact that Fire Department Coffee is veteran-owned and supports firefighters. So technically, drinking this makes you a hero-adjacent civilian. You're welcome. Final verdict: 10/10. Bold, smooth, slightly mischievous. The only bourbon I can responsibly enjoy before a Zoom meeting. Highly recommended — especially if your mornings require both courage and caffeine. 🚒☕

Switched from cafe bustelo express coffee to give this a try. It's good and worth the sale price of $9 but I don't think I'll buy it at full price. I like that it comes with 12 k-cups instead of 10, but you can only get one 6oz cup of coffee out of 1 k-cup. With the cafe bustelo you can get at least (2) 6 oz cups or (1) 10oz cup out of one k-cup, I'm assuming it's because it's an espresso coffee (cafe bustelo). But anyway, I like the flavor of this one and the smell isn't super strong 😟, but that's ok🙂.

first time I've tried this coffee, and I have a new favorite now! I was really surprised at how good it was, I even put that above Death Wish and Starbucks! I drink a lot of coffee LOL and I'm always trying new dark and espresso roast!

This isn't bad. It's not as good as the black rifle brand in my opinion. This does have a good taste, smells good brewing as well. Smells awesome in the cup as you drink it too. Nice strong bourbon flavor! It's just not as smooth as the black rifle coffee. Not bad at all though!

All I can say is all you taste is bourbon nothing else. This coffee is for an alcoholic. Not somebody that enjoys a good cup of strong coffee. I also put a crap load of creamer in it and it still doesn't hide the bourbon taste disgusting
