Fire In The Hole - The Plunderin' Pirate Game

Normally I wouldn't take the time to writye a review on a kid's game, but I had to make an exception in this case: My three kids get bored and spend hours making a me4ss because of that boredom....so I presented this new game to them, thinking at least it would give them something to do for half an hour or so....BUT I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. My kids spent literal hours playing together and had the time of their lives. This game is a godsend; my kids not only played the game, but it had their complete attention and they played nicely together, without fighting. What a great game this is....bright, vivid colors and playing pieces that are well-made...and when they were finally done playing the4 game, it was easily stored neatly for next time!!! I would recommend this game to any parent who needs something for their kids to do besides messing up the house...it would also be a great Christmas or Birthday gift for your child or for a child that you know!!!

I absolutely love this game! My family and I sat down to play it and I was impressed from the moment we opened the box. The board game unfolds and the ship pops up like a pop up book. The mast has a pocket to store it in right on the game Board and slides in easily. The design is truly flawless. It's obvious a lot of thought and design went into this game. Even the box offers easy and convenient storage that keeps everything secure and separate. The game play is easy to understand and fun for all ages!! We have played this countless times already and my kids ask for it first each time we go to play a game. Truly a perfect family or party game!! Highly recommend!! I've already recommended it to several families and plan to buy it to give as gifts too!! Awesome, 5 star game all the way around.

We've played this game a few times since receiving it and it's so much fun! All of my kids from 10-2yrs old like it and we as the adults like it too! The instructions are a little unclear so that's the only negative I have but we just put our own twist on it and enjoy it either way. I love that everything is recyclable and believe it or not the box is super sturdy so I hope it keeps the game together with no issues. I am definitely looking at other games like this for the future.

Wow this is an awesome board game! It had my family laughing and having the best time!!! The fact that this board game is 100% plastic-free, biodegradable and carbon-neutral makes it that more amazing! I'm all for supporting anything that is made plastic free! I'd definitely recommend this board game for kids and adults of all ages!

This game is recommended for age 7 and up and can be played with 2 or 4 players. It comes with 25 felt cannonballs, 4 eye patches, a wooden dice, playing cards and the pop up ship Everyone gets 4 cards to start. Then you draw a card and decide which card you want to play. Next, you roll the dice and do what the card tells you to do. The game consist of you throwing the cannon balls at the ship and hoping to get them in one of the holes. After throwing the cannon balls into the ship, the first person to get 4 cannonballs into the ship win the game. My kids really was impressed by the 3D pop up ship. This game was loads of fun and I would most definitely recommend it for a family fun night for the entire family.

Our family has played this game many times now and it is currently our favorite game during board games nights. It's a fun and creative mix on connect four—nearly as basic with a fun twist and creative additions! Requires some throwing skills and is a nice change from the usual board games our family plays. Other players can keep you from connecting with cards and tossing. The design is very creative and fun, especially for thr pirate lovers in your family. Great game for preschool age to adult!

I received this product to evaluate for free, but all comments and opinions are my own. We don't normally play board games, but this one is interesting. The concept is quite simple, even my 8 years old likes it. In fact, she's the most enthusiastic one in the family. The fact that the pieces are environmentally responsible is a plus. Recommended.

Definitely looks like a fun game. Haven't had a game night yet, but really looking forward to playing this game when we do. Similar to another game that has been loved for years, you "shoot" cannons over to attack your opponent and connect four cannons to win.

This game is pretty fun. Great family game. I like the different options on the cards....tossing balls with eyes closed, with eye patch, etc. Makes it fun. It was a little difficult getting them in a row. Takes a while. Also, when the ship is set up, some sides don't stay firm due to it being a pop-up game.

I got this game for my seven-year-old and four-year-old sons to play. I love the pirate theme and that the packaging is completely plastic free. The boys like the game but there are slightly too many elements to it. The cards that tell you how to use your turn are cute, but you are supposed to choose between five cards each time so you have to read all the cards to the younger players. Eventually, we just didn't use the cards and we stopped using the eye patches too because it was just too much. It's really just like connect four, but in a new way. I like this game, but you have to adapt it to fit the ages playing.
