GREAT PURCHASE-I am so glad I decided to do this
This was purchased to fit my power reclincer. It fits very well. There is a little room (less than an inch) each side which is what I wanted. I purchased the chair prior to my back surgery 12/19 and it is the only chair in the house that I can get out of wothout assistance.

Firm is a matter of debate
The product is composed of two different types of foam. The bottom layer is supposed to be the firm part of it. The other is supposed to be a memory foam that restores itself to its original shape. It was rated for people who weigh up to 400 pounds. I don't weigh anywhere near that but the shape of my butt is now the shape of the memory foam. After only a few days of use it has forgotten its original shape. It was a short term fix until I could order a new chair. It filled the bill.

Description not true
Cushion was not 3 inches of memory foam. 1 1/2 inches of memory foam, 1 1/2 inches of some other kind of firm foam. Therefore, it is not very comfortable.

Very firm. I bought for husbands recliner but too firm and pushed his back above the back support.

Overpriced for what you get! Extra thick pad is misleading, and there is nothing FIRM about it.
