Drop in Replacement for First Alert SA9120
The First Alert SMI100-AC is compatible with earlier First Alert and BRK hardwired smoke alarm models that use the same wiring harness and mounting bracket. This includes many legacy models, allowing you to reuse the base and plug without rewiring. I used this to replace a First Alert SA9120 which had reached the end of its service life.

Smoke %26 Carbon Detector
Although this product was the exact replacement item, it did not fit the old fixture. It was easy enough. To replace the old fixture since the new one had screws in the same place.

This item is exactly what I needed to replace the item in my home. It comes with a wall mount, hardwire plug and instructions. Overall good products. Shipping was not next day as promised.

The installation is easy if you already have the base mounted. The smoke detector comes with a pre-installed batter.
