First Alert Ionization Smoke Alarm, Battery Operated, SA303CN4, White, 1 Each

This smoke alarm fit on the ceiling outside my bedroom, in the hall way just perfect. I had been with Life Alert and they provided a smoke alarm but I sent it back with their other equipment. I needed a new smoke alarm and this First Alert had all the features I wanted plus a silencer. It is a compact alarm and uses a 9 volt battery which are available every where, this one came included in the package!

I was told by a fire department that the least expensive detectors are as good as the more expensive except that more features are added as the price goes up. These are perfect; and at under $8, it's the qua;ity & price I've come to expect from Walmart!!

I seen many complaints about the battery door, I guess it takes at least a middle school education to realize you have to take out the battery that is facing upwards for display and put it back in upside down and shut the door. Fully functionally basic model easy to use.

They work great. I have set off the one that is in the kitchen several times from burning grease when I open the oven door. And it is loud.

Easy installation, test button works fine, alarm is loud and sharp, product should serve its purpose well.

I ordered two for the house we are selling. easy instructions, and they come with 9 volt batteries. great!

Had to buy a bunch of smoke alarms for a recent home inspection, the price on these was by far the best deal I found for a name brand smoke detector.

This is a brand I trust and the price was very reasonable.It's easy to install,battery operated and warranty for ten years.I recommend this product.

This is a needed purchase I pray I never have to have it save my life but I'm glad I bought it in case I do need to depend on it. Peace of mind is priceless

Easy to install. Only negative is that there is a small red light that blinks about once per minute. Distracted my toddler son the first night but it doesn't seem to "light" the room.
