Peace of Mind
It's worth every penny for the peace of mind to have a carbon monoxide and gas alarm. It's very easy to use, I just plugged it in. The alarm is very loud when I tested it, there's no way I could miss that sound if it went off. Great investment.

I'm sure it would be great. I returned it because directions indicated it shouldn't be used in Garage, which I ordered it for.

Comes with a battery and wall mounting if you want to move the detector to a deferent spot than the part that plugs in. Testing works well. I assume it works for detection but I don't have a way to test that.

I bought 3 for our house cause I'm on supplemental oxygen, and I can say i feel my family is safer cause im sick and sleep a lot they do everything I need it to and alert us loud so if your heavy sleeper you will hear it.

Try one more.
Replaced existing one that had stopped working. Apparently life span is less than I expected but wanted one that monitored both CO %26 natural gas. Not sure cost outweighs the gas alert feature, especially if life cycle is only 4-5 years.

This is defective and I am returning it. I tried to change the battery but it still doesn't do the test to show it is working.
