First alert wireless connected three of them together and they were great test them once a month and they're good for 10 years. I couldn't ask for a better fire protection. I have them outside the bedrooms and outside the furnace room.

Added one unit to another location in the home to complete total coverage. Easy to install and set up. These units typically need replacement every seven years for confident working order.

Great fire alarm! We got one because we thought everyone needs one, but when we had a fire we were glad we had bought this one!!!! It saved my life, and the lives of my cat family!

the report from alarm to alarm is a great feature but the distance between units must be short 20 feet and line of sight, does not seem to go through walls. when detector gets old ( 7 years or so) it will report detector error. if this happens at 3 am your ability to figure it out is not good. yes these detectors should be replaced in less than 7 years,
