Great tool to help I.D. tones from detector
I used my detector for the first time at an old homestead. At first I didn't have the headphones on and just the noise from nature was distracting. However, once I had the headphones on and comfortably adjusted the slightest variation in the tone was noticeable. Had a ready good first day, found one 1941 Mercury dime, two 1940's Lincoln cents and one canning jar with the old zinc ring and seal with a glass insert in the seal, it was in pretty rough shape but once cleaned up it looked outstanding, thanks Bounty Hunter.

Great for everyone.
They work as designed. They help to limit outside noises. The separate volume control for each ear is a great feature that is especially helpful for me considering I have hearing loss in one ear.

Great Value
If you don't want to bother other people or if there is alot of outside noises around you, this head set works great. It is also very light weight.

He really enjoys the comfort and clarity of the sounds(metal detector) he also uses them to listen to music :)

Good Headphones
Nothing Fancy. Does the job well. They have adjustable volume control which is nice. And come with a seperate adapter to listen to audio equipment! For the price, a definite good buy.

Nice headphones for my needs.
The adapter for the 1/4" jack to the smaller size was bad not allowing volume on the right side to match volume on left side when in stereo position.

Great help for metal detector.
My husband stated that he likes it. You know men dont get to excited over anything anyhow. So he did say that it did help you hear the beeps better and would save on battery life if you did use a headphone. These are only for metal detectors and not for listening to music. So invest in them if only to save on batteries.

not good if your 6ft or taller
im 6 ft tall, the cord is not long enough to swing my metal detector, I have to stretch the cord my self, after a few mins the cords shrinks back up in a coil, but I deal with it because I cant really send it back, my next pair will have a longer cord, if your under 6 ft it might work better
