It was a substitute for what I originally ordered but it turned out to be better for the 1yr old I purchased it for. He made his first steps after playing with it for only a few minutes. Not only is he and his parents happy but I'm now the BEST AUNTIE EVER!!!!
My 3 kids love this toy. My oldest thinks it's a skateboard. My daughter likes the music. My youngest, who this was for, like to walk/run around with it. I think I maybe I should've bought one more. The assembly was fast and easy. I did need a screw driver for the 3 screws provided. It comes with three shapes and there are two places where you can put them.
I have a 9 month old great grandson who is starting to walk. He got home and started walking with this immediately. He should be walking on his own soon. This is stable, especially for larger babies. I would recommend this to anyone with babies who are beginning the walking phase.
The only reason I chose this style of a push walker is because I want to prevent as many accidents as possible. When babies are just starting to learn to stand and walk they do not yet know how to properly %26 evenly distribute their weight onto the device/walker to prevent tilting/tipping over, causing potential head injuries etc. This design truly does make a difference and prevents this. We have had it for a month now and my daughter has never fallen on her head which was my goal!
My son was 15 months old and still not walking even though he was standing, crawling, and climbing. The fun music, lights, toys got him interested in this pushing toy. He was going to physical therapy and they had the normal toy that you walk behind but he never wanted to walk and push it. He would just sit and play with the front of it. I seen this and loved how different it was from most toys like that. This toy is pretty much a walker that keeps them interested on both sides and gives them room to walk as well as they push and play. The day I bought this toy he started pushing it and walking behind it and dancing to the music. He is now walking like crazy since this toy helped him gain confidence!
This is a great toy for my Granddaughter, age 8 months. She loves standing and pulling herself up. There is a part that doesn't snap all the way in place to stay (The little blue arched "sign") that I might glue in place.
This was so great for our little guy. He loves sitting at it to play, and now he is grabbing the top and taking steps with it. Our 5 year old loves it, too! Only thing that would make it 5 star is a volume button (most toys have them now) so we could make it a little quieter.
I guess I didn't realize this was being shipped by a person and not necessarily Walmart. The box was pretty damaged and looked like it had been partially opened. There was tape missing that kept the box closed.
NOTHING STEADY about the speed. If your kid is not already walking they will fall forward and bust their lip or fall backward and pull the entire toy over on themselves.
