I bought this tub yesterday for my preemie twins and it is just a blessing. The sling is perfect for them to lay back and relax in the water and I dont have to worry that they r gonna fall out of the sling or fall under the water. They do not cry the entire bath because they can stay warm the whole time! Also that little spray bottle that comes with it is amazing, the water goes right where you want it to! This tub gets an A+ for me. I tried other tubs comparable to this summer brand and safety 1st brand and they both ducked for different reasons. Fisher price is definitely the winner!!
I have been using this since one month old. I wish I had bought it for my first. My child is currently 6 months old and is just starting to sit in it. All the position options make it super easy to grow with baby and it fits my sink perfectly! Having it sit on top of the sink helps prevent more back pain. A must have purchase for a baby!
This was a baby shower gift which was registered on a registry at another store. The store was out of it and was lucky to locate it at Sam's Club because I saved money by purchasing it at Sam's. The mom to be was so happy along with her husband. It's a great bath tub because it last longer as the baby grows than other baby bath tubs. It's made very well and I'd recommend it highly.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So this is not my first time buying one from you guys I have bought the ones like this 10 years ago I keep coming back to this style and to the people that are claiming mold under the label that's not mold that's is glue and paper residue so use Goo be gone on it and you'll be fine and for the sling I dry it with a hair dryer and I would wash it with laundry soap after each use you probably can put it In cold wash and dry in your washer and dryer in a net bag with not heat and it be wash and dry think smarter only thing I would recommend is that they make the stickers just out of plastic and not paper and plastic so it is easier to remove and people won't be claiming it's mold
Sling/infant stage works really well. The tub plug is located under the seat making it hard to drain once the seat is installed. Also the seat fits snuggly so not easy to pop in and out to access the plug. Tub designed well for dual basin kitchen sinks however it can be difficult for shorter parents to lift baby into/out of tub when on top of sink. Overall tub serves its purpose but has some drawbacks.
It's really hard to say for sure since this is a gift that hasn't been opened yet, but from what I see and read this is a really well made and thought out design. It comes with quite a few extra things compared to others I've looked at. I think the added sling will be really nice and helpful while the baby is small. I'm sure this gift will be well received and used.
I got this tub as a baby shower gift. Open till today we have just used the sling part and it has been wonderful. First complaint is that the hawk where you would put it on the shower rod, is to straight up and down, so the water drips right onto my bathroom floor. Second complaint I just put the green stopper in today, because my baby is now four months old. I had his head resting on the green phone part and his butt was sitting at the base of the green part, As shown on the instructions. The green part does not click in and is not Starley. He was sliding in moving the green part the entire time. I had to hold the seat part down the entire bath because I was afraid he would slip into the water. Not sure will be using this tub anymore
Bath tub comes with warning stickers that are impossible to remove. Other reviews claimed mold to grow on stickers, so I wanted to remove them. They do not peel off easy and leave a very sticky residue behind.
Do not buy this. 2nd time using this and my son had a cut on his foot. Blood everywhere. Went to the er to get it looked at. I am extremely disappointed in fisher price. Also if u look up reviews on Google there's a bunch of babies this happened to. This needs to be recalled asap. And I'm definitely ganna be contacting someone about this.
We used this with our newborn. The bathtub worked fine during the bathing period however after hanging it up on our shower curtain rod for around 5 minutes as per the website's guidance, it brought down the rod and broke it! Luckily, no one was under the rod when it fell! This is a standard curtain rod installed by the builder in a newly built home that we've been living in for the last 3 years and this is the first time the shower curtain rod has come down! Now I have to purchase a new rod which is going to cost roughly the same amount as the bathtub!!!
