Recibí este producto hace algunos días y mi niña de 3 años está muy feliz. Muestra interés por los insectos y flores y este juguete es perfecto para ella. Aparte de que le enseño la importancia que tienen las abejas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Received this toy for my 4 year old. Upon getting it he loved it! The Velcro on the back don't stick well and if you have littles that put things in their mouths be on watch as the honey mixer is a bit on the smaller side. Other than that it is great quality. This backyard bee keeper set is a simple set with a honey jar that looks like real honey with a removable lid, a wooden honey dipper, a beehive with 2 honeycombs, 3 felt bees, 2 felt flowers, and 2 removable honey cell shapes for your child to match to the honey combs, like a puzzle piece. My grand daughters loved playing with this set and found it hard to put down. My only worry is that they will lose the small parts quickly. It is a fun toy that helps with imaginative play. When I first opened this for my daughter (3), I really wasn't sure what she was supposed to do with it. Well she figured it out! She absolutely loves collecting the honey and putting it in the jar. She makes everyone smell the flowers when they come over and she loves loves loves the honey bees. This was is a ton of imaginary fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who loves flowers. She has loved mixing and matching the bees on the flowers. Such an easy product for a child to use! Very portable too and cleans up nicely. I would recommend adding a "bee keeper" hat, shirt or even apron to make it more exciting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My little one loved the Backyard Beekeeper toy. She is 4 years old and has a great imagination. She integrated some if her dolls to play as the gardeners and patients after they were stung by the bees. If your little one enjoys playing pretend, creatively with different settings then this is a great toy for them. I wish it made noise or had lights, that would make it even better. I received this a couple of weeks ago for my 6 year old daughter. The set itself is really cute but it's a little young for a 6 year old. She only played with it one time and when I asked her if she liked it she said it was okay. The bees can attach to the flowers and hive with velcro and there's even a pretend honey jar. I think if my child was younger it would have held her interest more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This was a very cute toy and a great way to teach kids about bees. I do feel that Mattel could've stepped up their game with this set by adding in a beekeepers hat and/or gloves for kids to get the full experience! It didn't seem to hold my kiddos attention for very long, but they still enjoy playing with it for short amounts of time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My daughter received this a few weeks ago. She loved it to play pretend, but it just didn't hold her attention for long. I think with kids who love imagination play this would be the perfect addition. My daughter enjoys more hands on activities so this wasn't a great fit for her. Our family is a faithful Fisher Price buying family. We have always loved the products due to their durability and entertaining nature. Sadly, I didn't feel that the Fisher Price Backyard Beekeeper stood up to their usual high standards. In the photos I expected the parts to be made from wood, not felt. The flowers stems bent the first time we stood them up in the box. The bees and honeycomb puzzle pieces are very cute, but overall my kids age 3 and 4 only played with the set for about 5 minutes and haven't wanted it again since. A wooden box and wooden painted pieces, other than the honey jar of course, would have at least made this set durable enough to carry around and for the pieces not to get lost.
