Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Spray 'n Lights Bath Whale

I don't know what everyone else is talking about. My son got this as a gift from a friend & he LOVES it. He's 11 months now & has had it since about 8 months. It sprays him in the face sometimes when it goes right under his chin, but he's okay with that. No problems with the batteries, no problems getting the battery cover off, it works the way it's supposed to. It's a really fun toy & one of my son's favorites.

This worked for abut a year, when the batteries died, so did the toy. I don't have any complaints. it was great fun while it lasted. A years worth of fun out if a toy isnt bad to me!

My daughter received this as a gift and loved it. Then it stopped working. I changed the batteries twice but it still won't work. 3 times, while sitting in the bathroom totally by itself, it will turn on and run a cycle (light flashes, motor runs). Maybe we just got a damaged/possessed one.

All the packaging said it would swim around, spray water from its spout and light up. It did light up, but wouldn't spray water and the jet on the bottom that made it swim around wasn't very powerful so it didnt swim very fast at all. It got a few inches and shut off. I ended up returning this product...wasn't worth the money

This was bought for my 6 month old son who just started sitting up on his own. The concept is really cute and the design is really colorful and very cute, but the toy just doesn't fit the bill. It took me FOREVER to unscrew the bottom to put batteries in it. And I mean, I thought something was wrong with it because I had to unscrew both sides like 100 times each. The packaging makes it seem as if the little ball floats in the whale's spray, but the ball is too heavy for the little sprays of water that come out. My 4 year old was interested in it for about 2 minutes but even said himself, "this just doesn't work good". Don't waste your money.

Like others on here we received this as a gift for our 8 month old for Christmas. Took it out of box and put in new batteries. The spout lit up and a low trickle of water came out. It didn't float on its belly like suppose to ,etc. I would not recommend this toy as it seems this one has more cons than pros.

This toy will not turn off. This toy does not have a on/off switch, so it turns itself on and off all the time. Light does not always work. Would not spend the money for this toy.

This bath toy is cute at first but as soon as it runs a couple times the water burns it out til it dries out. My sister and I opened the battery comparment and there was water in the batteries. When it dries out it randomly makes noise.

Cute idea, but doesn't work right; the whale doesn't float at all, and when it chooses to spit out water it makes a terribly loud sound scaring my boys. (3mths and 15mths). I would NOT recommend this to anyone, much less my friends/family. I was terribly disappointed- this whale is a FLOP!

I purchased this as a gift for my son for his 1st birthday & upon using it the very first time, the water did not shoot out. I've wasted $10 on a lot of things but I was upset with this because he got so excited when he saw it in the bath. Thankfully he didn't know better, but I surely did.
