grandson wanted this for birthday he loves it he's 5 years old
We are loving the Scooby Doo Viking Ship in our house. The ship is well amde and moves on a wheel system taht simulates waves which is so neat! In true Scooby Doo fashion there is food in the form of tacos that shoot from the ships bow. The Viking charactr is a great addition to the Scooby Doo figure that allows more than one kid to play with the ship at on time. You can also battle other toys around the house sea floor. The ship has been a new constant source of fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We got this a few weeks ago and my son has played with it every day since. This is a kid who loses interest in most toys the day we buy them. He loves that it has multiple shooting devices and one is tacos (his favorite food)! That it rolls along, has oars, a bad guy and a hero. He also uses it for aot of his other toys as well. It has been used and abused, ran into walls, dropped, banged about, the last couple of weeks and still looks brand new. Over all I highly recommend this toy it definitely sparked loads of imaginative play for my guy and has held up to rough play. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My 6 year old daughter has been playing with it all week and she loves it. She loves the shooters, especially the taco shooter. She thinks that one is really cool. Loves the movable platform and the storage holes for the taco launchers. She likes the way the boat looks too, especially the front with Scooby Doo as a viking. She thinks he looks really cool. My five year old son loves this toy. He's a big scooby-doo fan and loves his Imaginext toys so this is a great toy for him! He loves the shooting tacos and disk shooter on the back of the ship. It's well made and constructed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Imaginext never lets you down. They make durable long lasting toys. They provide hours of fun. They take pride in the details of their toys. This Scooby Doo playset is age appropriate and really allows for kids to use their imagination. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have two sons ages 5&8. My kids seem to get bored pretty quickly after getting a new toy. They've both had toys like this before but there's something about Scooby-Doo that brings out their imagination. They have had this toy for a week, both have played with it solo and together. They like to see who can shoot the cute taco missiles the farthest. My 5 year old has even taken the toy in the bath with him. Between two boys and it going in the bath not a thing has broken on it. I'll be buying more Scooby-Doo characters to go with it. Couldn't be happier with this product. We received this toy free by Mattel in exchange for an honest review. Scooby Doo where are you? Here he is and he is as adorable as ever! Super fun interactive boat complete with a taco launcher!! My child is obsessed with this and has played with it every single day since it entered our home! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I really wanted to love the Scooby Viking Ship. Generations of people have enjoyed Scooby for so many years. Scooby is nostalgic for many of us and our kiddos. While the ship is fun, my children who have played with it (ages 10, 8 and 4) lose interest in it quickly. They love that you can shoot tacos (one of their favorite foods) off the ship. It's a very manageable size and rolls around quite nicely. The elevator didn't really seem to add much to the interactive play factor for my kiddos. The discs that can be launched go quite a distance and the kids really enjoy that. Overall, it's a fun ship…but may not keep children entertained long before they want to move on.
