Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Wood Straights & Curves Track Pack

We have had the Thomas & Friends Fisher-Price Wood, Racing Figure-8 Set for a year. It was nice to add some track to this set, to make the layout more interesting. The four straight pieces and two curves allowed us to do that. In addition, the two adaptor pieces allowed us to add some track from a different train set to our layout. I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review. I was pleasantly surprised with this add on set. My 3.5 year old was excited to get new pieces to change up his old set. It all fit together perfect and the cute extras made it like he was playing with a new toy all over again. I'd recommend if you already have an existing set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old loved this and it was the first toy he played with every day this past weekend. It is durable, easy to assembly, and great for creative play. The cow fasinated him with the movable head and the adaptor pieces allowed him to connect to his other wooden train set for added fun. The ramps were also great when making an open course and allowed the train to glide up onto the track with ease. I really liked that the adaptors and ramps were colorful and made them easy for my son to spot when needed. The only thing I wish this pack had was just one train engine as my little one was disappointed it did not but overall he enjoyed playing with it and would recommend to others.

The 2 pieces of wood connectors worked well when we tried to connect the Thomas & Friends track pieces to our normal track. I do noticed the Thomas & Friends track's connectors are slightly shorter that out other sets and it tend to 'disconnect' easier. This set offers a nice collection of Thomas & Friends track along with a cute little cow and cow crossing sign. It would make a fun addition to existing Thomas & Friends train collections. A few important things to note: - This is an add-on set and DOES NOT include the Thomas train pictured - It only includes two curved pieces and three straight pieces of wood track, so there is not enough to make a loop on its own - The track has a different connectors than other popular wooden train systems, however, two adapter pieces are included allowing you to connect [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got this and let my 3 year old daughter open it to play with. Unfortunately it was just 10 pieces that could be connected to make a train track, a cow crossing sign and a small toy calf. While she enjoyed playing with that for what it was, it would have been more fun if it came with a train. This is simply an accessory for someone wanting to expand on their Thomas The Tank Engine playset. It isn't something that can really be played with without owning other Thomas toys. this pack is rather disappointingly small. it comes with two ramps, two adapter pieces, a cow, and a few track pieces. Not even an engine was included, though it wouldn't be necessary because there's not enough pieces to make even a semi-decent track. It's not really an expansion so much as a couple spare parts. However, it was all very well made, and one of the track pieces comes with little cow footprints, which was adorable. Would we get something like this again? No. We have enough old-style train sets and pieces that it's just not spectacular enough to make us want to switch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought the new wooden train set for our 2 1/2 year old grandson. I wish it was as nice as the set we purchased for our 13 year old grandson when he was 2. The biggest disappointment are the tracks, they are hard to find, They do not match any other brand, like before. The paint job on cars are terrible. Fisher-price I expect better from you.

Everything is smaller than it used to be, there's less paintwork, and there's more plastic! Quality is definitely not there. Not impressed at all.

I just bought this for my three yr old grandson am disappointed! I can not find the expansion tracks any where, and when you use adapters to match up to another companies tracks it throws off the design of the layout. My older grandsons had these trains and they were much better. Why did you change them? New and improved, might be new, but seldom improved!
