[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome and works super well and moving logs of all lengths. Not sure I can live without it at the camp after using it for only a day. It makes it super simple to move logs or position them for splitting or cutting!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars ten inch Log Hook is just what I needed to pick up cut firewood logs for splitting on my log splitter. No need to bend down to pick up tog with both hands as the hook easily grabs the logs for placement on my splitter tray. This product is well constructed as are all my Fiskar implements. This hook is a sure grab for each log with no drops.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this log hook in last week and it has really useful for clearing off our property to move the bigger brush , This is made out of strong steel and you just grab and turn the log and move it just like that , So move better than grabbing it with your hands ,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the Fiskars log hook has been an absolute game changer. Using the hook I am now able to roll logs into place to be cut or split. The log hook also acts as an extension for reaching out and grabbing logs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to use the Fiskars log hook because a tree had fallen into my hay field which needed to be turned over to attach a log chain for pulling it out of my field. The hook at first was not grabbing into the wood log until I used more force and got the point deeper into the log. The log that I turned was four and a half inches thick on one end and about ten inches on the other end. The log hook worked very well for the work I was doing though the handle itself could be more useful if longer for more leverage. Using this log hook helped to get the job done easier and faster.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like to do any fires or cut any wood this is a must have tool. It is super functional and very slick looking. I am very happy with this hook and love being able to use it not to mention not geting wood splinters. :-) I highly recommend this product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this free from influenster/Fiskars to give an honest review. My husband says this is nice and lightweight, but durable feeling. It makes moving logs easier and saves his back. It's nice and compact, so it's easy to store. The holster it comes with it nice for storing it as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle is easy to hold and grip. The hook isn’t as sharp as sharp as I thought it would be but it works. It seems like it’s durable enough to do what I need to get done and withstand a good beating,it’s somewhat helpful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not thinking I would like the log hook as its small size did not give it a good first impression. After using the hook and going through a learning curve how to make it work for me, I had to say it will stay with my wood cutting tools when I go out to cut wood. The hook works very well in a tight work area on a log deck and the sharp point with serrated edges allows me to grasp a log for relocating to cut down to a manageable size. The strength of the metal impressed me as I was able to lift a sizeable diameter and long log to cut up. It would be nice if the overall length of the hook was longer as I am 6ft 4in and bending over can be tiring over time but if I needed to move a log bigger or longer then is the time to use a picaroon or peavey. Nice tool, will probable get another one to use both at the same time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing isn’t super useful without the implement that you’d use to grip the other side of the log. If you’re just using one on one side it’s awkwardly lower than your hand on the other side. Definitely not much or any easier than just carrying the logs with your hands. I probably just don’t have the right use case for it. I’m sure if you’re moving logs all day this plus something for the other side would be a lifesaver
