Fiskars 8" Explore Fabric Scissors, Blue

I've always trusted Fiskars scissors, if I only use it on fabric, it lasts a long time! If I use it to cut paper, plastic or other materials it's not intended for, then it becomes very dull, very quickly. I would like it that I could find a scissor sharpener that didn't cost $100, so that I could update all my scissors, because I found a site on the internet that said that if you cut tinfoil with scissors it's supposed to sharpen it... I did this... is a hoax it doesn't work!!! I don't know what they were using but I did it on mine I purposely bought tinfoil to try to sharpen all my scissors doesn't work and it hurt my hand trying to cut through foil!!?? I want to find a sharpener that is made by a well name company yet ....

I had the bright idea we were going to make tie blankets for everyone. I got the fabric but "we don't need scissors! we have scissors at home!" The scissors at home were awful. We made it through one blanket and I had blisters all over my hand. The whole ordeal was chaos and almost ended in a break up. My partner told me if we were making more we needed new scissors. THESE SAVED MY HANDS AND MY RELATIONSHIP.

I really like these scissors. I do a lot of alterations on my clothing at home and these give me much straighter lines and sharper edges than my normal scissors. Good buy.

For me these are a solid set of all-purpose scissors to keep in the "general purpose drawer" in the kitchen.

Like these fabric scissors as I needed to cut some length off some sweater knit pants. My old scissors would have wrecked them and I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for expensive dress maker scissors. Guess what, these worked like a charm.

These scissors work very well.

I have always relied on Fiskars for my sewing and craft needs. I got these for sewing and cutting fabric. These just didn't seem as sharp as most I have bought before. They are cheaper in price also. You get what you pay for? They still are good quality and work well enough for the crafts I do. I still rely on Fiskars for my craft needs.

very smooth cutting so far. i have been using these exclusively on cloth. i do feel like i may need to sharpen soon, but for the price these are great.

Designed with Ergonomics in mind. Works well for cutting fabric in sewing projects. Very sharp blades. Comfortable handle. The color looks a little dated.
