[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool comes in so handy! The price is good on it, it's very durable and I reach for it often. It's especially good in corners and if you want to add texture.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Fiskars distressing hammer for free in exchange for my honest review, and I must say, its durability is amazing. The sturdy construction allows for consistent performance, making it a reliable tool for all my crafting needs. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a long-lasting and effective distressing tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this tool!!! Used it on some end tables to give them a little bit more character. They were solid colored wood tables and now they look vintage and really lavish!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This distressing hammer has a good concept with multiple texture options, which is a nice feature. However, the flat surface tends to create too uniform of a look, making it appear less authentic and more artificial. The metal nature of the hammer also limits its versatility. It can't achieve a distressed look on fragile materials like paint on a terracotta pot, as there's a risk of breaking and it requires considerable force to achieve the desired results as it does not have a good amount of weight to it. The handle is fairly comfortable to hold though. While it's a good tool for harder surfaces, the uniformity and limitations with different materials are drawbacks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks a bunch to Influenster for sending me this tool in exchange for my review. I absolutely needed this tool in my toolbox. It definitely has a durable handle and I'm loving its versatile and unique design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know what to expect about this hammer until I got it. I'm in love. It's heavy duty but easy to handle. I was able to try it out on a project I've been wanting to distress. I absolutely love how it turned out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars 9-Pattern Texturing Hammer for Distressing is an easy way to add texture and detail you want to wood, leather, tin and more! There are 9 unique patterns and the handle features SoftGrip touch points for comfort while you work. I especially love how the handle features a hang hole for storing. I would recommend this for any crafty, DIY or carpenter!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hammer is very strong and sturdy. Safe to use. Easy to use on different surfaces. Small edges are suitable for precise applications. However, the hammer head and handle angle is not suitable for hard object/ surface
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this to test. Was very excited as I do a lot of wood board projects. It's a very durable/sturdy distresser hammer. Easy to use and easy to hold and feel very safe using. However all that said wasn't super impressed with the distressed marks it makes. There is one side when used reminds me of when you take a fork to potato to bake or meat tenderizer type of marks which to me doesn't really scream distressed. Other sides are ok but it takes a lot of force to make an impression.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved into a new house and we've been undergoing major construction/renovations. So it was really perfect timing to get this hammer. It's quite different from the other hammers that we have in our toolbox. This one has 3 different heads with different patterns/textures and not your typical precision hammer which I think is perfect for different needs. It's also surprisingly super light and I'm a 5'4 100 something pound female. I didn't expect it to be so light. It's probably because of the handle? It's not metal based. It's like a much softer, rubber like grip. But because of that, I am afraid it'll break eventually given its unbalance with a metal head and rubber grip. Like the weight might be unbalanced over time? Overall, really happy to have this and it has been fun using this to demolish the smaller stuff around the house for renovations. Can probably continue to use this for other smaller projects once the renovations are done.
