Fiskars Amplify Shears Mixed Media Scissors, Orange and White, 8 inch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know how it is when you have kids, you never can find the shears and when you do their inevitably dull or sticky, or won't operate because they weren't cleaned from the last time they were used to open up that icing package. These new shares are fantastic! They come with a well designed, ergonomic handle that fits well into the hand. I am right, handed, and so I can't speak how these handles would work for a left-handed person. Both the handle, and the blades themselves are heavier duty than normal shears, and thus are able to handle much more mixed media than light duty shears. Are they open and close extremely smoothly And so far everything I've used them on have produced a clean, fine cut. They come with a sheath to fit over the blades that locks into place. Fiskar‘s has created a well thought out product in these mixed media shears, and this pair will live in the desk in my office. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am slowly refurbishing a boat and the last two items I need to complete is the carpeting and a few seat covers. I am using a heavy duty marine grade vinyl that is pretty thick and was using a razor to cut the vinyl which is awkward and doesn't leave clean lines around the boards. These scissors cut like the vinyl is paper. I can get a cleaner and closer cut around the edges comfortably. I am going to have to hide these scissors. I have large hands and they fit perfectly and very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great for opening packages and envelops. They are awesome to just have in the kitchen drawer for multi use purposes and they come with a nice protective cover to avoid injuries. They've replaced my old kitchen scissors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pair of scissors is very useful since it can cut through different types of items. I have used it on fabric, boxes, tape and paper. All with great results. If there's something I do not like about it, it's the white handles. It can get dirty fast.
