They look great, fit both mine and my husband's hands well, plus they do a wonderful job. They're big yet precise. Added bonus that they have a case so my toddler can't get to them too easily.

I have used them many times already and am very pleased as the blades do not come apart as with other scissors. I also really like the case that says on due to the locking system. For me, they make the best products on the market, at least for my needs These shears are great to keep around wherever you open you packages, or break them down for recycling. The cut right through most of the cardboard I've tried. I haven't tested them on anything harder than that, can't attest to it. They also come with a nice cover for the sheets for when you aren't using them. Great safety feature for such sharp scissors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're someone who isn't content with the fragility and cutting power of normal scissors, I would recommend getting a pair of these Fiskars 8" Amplify Mixed Media Shears. They have comfortable ergonomic ringed handles that don't slide around and feel good even when you're cutting thicker and more substantial materials such as cardboard or canvas fabric. The blades are more tightly bound together with a more durable thicker screw component which allows these scissors to be more efficient and sharp when it comes to cutting. Cutting normal paper or even thick card stock paper is a cinch with these shears. They are also more durable compared to normal scissors and don't feel flimsy even when you're cutting through thick materials. I enjoy journaling and crafting in my free time and these scissors are great for all my crafting needs. I appreciate that the blades come with a plastic sheath that fits securely over the blade hinges in order to protect both the user and the blades. These are well designed and I highly recommend them to my fellow crafters.

I have used them to slice thick plastic, chicken thighs, and even small metal screens. They work very well. They clean easily too. The case is a bonus. Very strong. Very sturdy. I have big hands and these fit great!

Not really sure what they are made to cut but I can say they work on everything and with ease. I believe these will be purchased for now on. I've used the fabric packaging cardboard and even flower stems!... Will definitely recommend these sheers to anyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had high hopes for these shears as it says it can cut through cardboard. I had no luck cutting through the cardboard it came in. As a crafter who likes a variety of tools for different media, I really wanted this to work. The ergonomics of the handle feels great. Will try it on other media soon.
