The Fiskars blunt tip kids scissors are perfect for young children just learning how to use scissors. They are comfortable and safe. They easily cut through paper and yarn without the sharp edges of normal scissors. Perfect for at home craft projects or take to school. It comes with a snug fit sleeve that safely covers the blades. They are scissors so you do have to be careful but they have tried very hard to make these as safe as possible while still also being able to function. The handles are easy to grip and don't slip easily. Great beginner scissors for children older people who need the added safety. The handles would be a little small for adult hands but can still be used no problem.
First off, the only brand I trust is Fiskars for scissors. These little babies cut like a charm - as expected. I like the little sheath and rounded edges that make them a little more kid-friendly. This is a pair I can leave out in the living room. Any mistaken bumps to the bookshelf won't end with the threat of unwanted accidents.
I got this for my little ones to use, but it sits on my work desk for my own use :) it is well made with a very attractive design. the cutting edge is sharp enough for precise & clean cuts but not too sharp that it will cut your fingers The overall size is perfect that little kids can use, but big enough handles so that adults can use it also
My 5-year old loves arts and crafts and these scissors are perfect for any task. He also uses them for school. They are easy for him to grip and not too pointy at the tip where he could possibly hurt himself. The safety cover is really cool and adds another layer of safety.
We received our Fiskars Blunt-Tip 5” Kids Scissors (ages 4+), and are very pleased with their look, durability and performance. They are safety-scissors, but are still sharp and precise enough to cut cleanly through both regular and construction paper. I love the removable protective sheath provided for them, which further protects my son's school bag from the pair of scissors poking through or opening up when carrying them in his school supply pouch. These are great for younger kiddos, who are just starting to use scissors independently (with supervision, of course), and the Fiskars brand has always been the best, most durable and reliable brand. Fiskars has once again proven why they are considered top notch! We really love these scissors. I consider them a staple for every younger child's school supply kit, and I would definitely recommend them for any child age 4+, especially for a first pair of school scissors.
Perfect size for my 4 year old who is in kindergarten. I preferred the round tip so that it's not too sharp while he learns to cut. They cut through thicker paper pretty well. The safety cover is a plus, since he is barely learning scissor safety and could forget to place them down in his carrier. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
I have been a fan of Fiskars brand scissors for years. My oldest used the blunt tip starting at age 2 with no issues. She moved on to the pointed ones at age 6. My youngest was the same way. Number one recommended scissors by elementary school teachers. Love Them!
These are really great for your little ones who feel like they have to cut something like their older siblings but you are afraid to allow them to use scissors. You still need to monitor and make sure they use them properly but now you want have any fear of them hurting themselves plus it comes with a cute cover up so it doesn't stick holes in things when put up.
Overall this scissors is comfortable and easy for kids to use. The only thing my son suggests is that the blade could be a bit longer because he has to use more movements for bigger projects that require a lot of cutting. Maybe 3-4” blade instead of just 2”. Being only about 2” , that's a very small cut before you have to open your hands again which could get tiring. Overall it's great scissors to practice cutting and learn how to control cuts.
Was this a substituted item? Is this what LJ Alleman listed for 11-13 year olds? They seem very small and state for ages 4-7 on label. I'm a bit confused. I followed the list during online order that you guys had pulled up from LJ. Daughter loves the color, they are just a tad small. Her hands are bigger than mine. Please send me input. Thank you for delivering supplies to us!
