These are cool scissors for any beginner starting school. They are fatter so easier to grip and less dangerous. I love the scissor sheath it comes with. I didn't have this as a child. I think it's awesome yteach kids safety early on. They offer awesome colors for you to choose from too. It cuts real well and seems to do what it's supposed to.

The Fiskars kid scissors are perfect for my 6 year old they do not have a sharp tip which is great and they have a awesome little cover when not in use it also has a eraser tip on the cover and it sure is and works well actually so yes we love these little scissors 6 year old and parent recommend

I got these for my 3 year old who's been very interested in cutting lately. She is able to do a great job with these! The blades are sharp enough to cut easily so I definitely wouldn't leave her unattended with them. Also, she's left handed and hasn't had any trouble with these so they'll work for either hand.

Great for my 4 year old boy learning to cut!! The ones for toddlers don't really let him cut even thought they are super (Too) safe. They are versatile enough to cut papers and fabrics and small enough to fit kids' hands. These were sturdy and perfect for a classroom or an at home learning area!

Love these scissors- they cut well as you'd expect from all Fiskar scissors, and I think they're reasonably well built for children. They are a little one the short end, and I found that my kids are probably reaching the age where they could use bigger scissors, but assuming you're buying for the proper age, these are good scissors. There is some friction to open and close them, which may fatigue their hands, but it also prevents them from cutting too quickly. I especially appreciate that it comes with a protective cover, which I think all kids scissors should come with. The tips are rounded, so they are safer than pointed scissors. please with them overall.
