[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I'm fairly new to sewing. I love this rotary cutter. It is so smooth. The blade is nice and sharp. I haven't had any issues cutting a variety of different fabrics from cotton to fleece to flannel etc. I'm naturally drawn to fun colors, so the purple is perfect for me.

Comfortable in the hand, and comes with a sharp blade. It locks OPEN but NOT closed, so be VERY careful, especially when storing in bags or containers with other items that may compress the blade lever (only speaking from previous injury experience on the same design). NEVER underestimate just how sharp new blades are, and always assume the thing isn't safetied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a rotary cutter before but I found the design to be very interesting. The lever pushes the blade out to use and the button pushes it back. It was comfortable to hold and although I was using cardboard as a mat since I don't have one I was still able to get some pretty precise cuts with it. I kinda felt like I was slicing pizza and I am used to using a fabric scissors but using this tool was a fun new experience for me.
