Fiskars Log Tongs 13"

Well built log tongs made in Poland. It functions well and carries a 9 inch log.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. These tongs make it so much easier to lift, move and carry small logs. I especially like the holster idea for my larger projects, and I use it to hang the tongs outside by the log pile. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the design, materials, and manufacturing. I expect them to last a long time. It's a very small investment for a time (and back) saving tool.

I had a tree in my yard damaged buy a storm and the Fiskars log tong made clean up a lot faster and easier, I was very impressed with the high quality of workmanship put in the making of these tongs. I feel they are a have to have tool for every home owner to have. I recommend these long tongs to anyone looking for a great tool. Fiskars products are always well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really never thought of getting log tongs in the past. These Fiskar's log tongs are excellent for a fire pit. We have a small wood pile outback and this allows us to get the logs without fear of critters (and there are critters here in Texas!). These work really well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These log tongs are a cool tool that I never knew I needed. These tongs are a huge help when hauling firewood from our storage area to the pit or the fireplace. Rather than awkwardly holding a big log, the tongs sink their teeth in and allow for easy carrying. Gravity helps the tongs grip the log, and I haven't had any issues with a premature release. Very useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This log tongs have great features. It's sturdy and very handy. It has ergonomic handles and has good feel on the rubber. The end part of the hook is pointed and it holds heavy logs well without falling. Easy to grab logs and release them easily as well. It's a great tool to have. I highly recommend it!

I ordered these 13" log tongs, but I received the smaller 9" version. They seem to be very good quality, but they are too small for my needs. Thankfully, Walmart issued a refund when I reported the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the midst of creating a railroad ties flower garden and these ties can be heavy. Now if you were to do as I do which is use a pair of "FISKARS LOG TONGS : you would find that the weight seems to be cut in half. I don't know how this is possible but what I'm saying is true. It's just amazing !

Not as described/pictured are not large enough to pickup a 12" diameter log as described. They seem like a well made tool, too bad they aren't a little bit larger. Need to fix that description.

The tongs are listed as 13" but are only 9".
