Now That's a Shovel !
Yes there's cheaper shovels available and that may be all you need for now. I recently bought a Fiskars rake to replace a cheap wooden handle rake that snapped in half. I bought this shovel to replace a cheap wooden handle shovel that also broke while using it. Somehow wood doesn't seem to be what it used to be. Could be it's all genetically engineered to be disposable. I usually avoid anything plastic because it tends to deteriorate and break. The orange handle on this shovel is solid and supported on both sides with hard metal. It's the same as the Fiskars scissors and pruners that I've had for 20 years, still like new. Overall this shovel is built like a tank, solid, nothing loose, no rattles. It has a full lifetime warranty, something you'll probably never need to use. Hard to believe, it's made in China, possibly by the best and brightest kids in the factory.

Excellent product
This thing is exquisite. Exceptional build quality with superb ergonomics. A bit pricey? Yes, but easily justified once you have it in hand. These are surprisingly hard to find. Thanks for making this available at a fair price!

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do alot of digging in our flower beds and dealing with scooping up ashes from our weekend fire pit. This digging shovel is great. I've been through some shovel brands and fiskars pro is tougher than the rest. I highly recommend

Great brand and shovel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Fiskars brand on many tools and I'm always happy with the performance of the product being used. Great brand to rely on in landscaping and gardening. I've used saws, paper cutters, scissors, axes, pruners all great!
