Fiskars SoftGrip 9 Inch Bypass Pruner with Precision-Ground Steel Blades, 3/4 Inch Cut Capacity

I like Fiskars products, these pruners are easy to use, good for trimming small limbs on bushes. The safety lock is a good feature. I wish they had rubber on the handle instead of plastic, with gloves on they're alright. I didn't notice that when reading the description. I still recommend.

The Pruners are sharp and cut well but the 'spring' mechanism binds and gets stuck in the closed and does not push the pruner back open. It does not function smoothly when cutting.

Ordered these online with some other items. They did not deliver, and when I attempted to resolve online was told that this item was not eligible for refund or replacement. I communicated the issue through chat and was told I would get call. No call received. Mistakes happen, but super annoying when the company cant resolve effectively.

The cast iron on these chipped on the second cut while trimming off shoots from grape vines. These were not thick vines.

After first day's use the blade would not lock. The button was "iffy" before I used it, but the blades won't close after dead-heading hydrangeas.
