Fitbit Ace 3 Activity-Tracker for Kids 6+, Minions Special Edition, Yellow, One Size

My son loves this watch! The battery lasts over a week and the band is super cute with minions on it. Throughout the day the minion on the screen engages in different activities and as my son reaches steps milestones the minion celebrates his achievements, and he loves it! The only bad thing is the app. Now Fitbit is part of Google health and it required me to create an email google account for my son to be able to link his watch to my account. Totally unnecessary in my opinion and extra work for me. Other than that I'm extremely happy with it.

My kid loves tracking her steps and sleep, she tries to compete and win over steps. cute to see her enjoy tracking all of it.

Other reviewers said it was hard to set up. I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THIS HARD. I have been using Google and Fitbit for a long time and I am familiar with them. My husband is an engineering professor. We have not yet been able to set this thing up and we bought it weeks ago. Fitbit has gone downhill ever since Google bought it and this is atrocious. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it to anyone else.

No way to lock it down to prevent your child from messing with it all day.

Fitbit will not allow it to be an option to add to an account. It's a great product for a child. Apparently Fitbit knows there are issues and rather than correct the issues, they keep selling a product that is next to impossible to use. I have spent hours trying to create the account and get it set up. My current account won't create the family account and I can't add this product as an additional device. Under a child account, this specific model isn't adding either.

I bought these for my granddaughters. Impossible to set up! They want some sort of tracking subscription for $10/month. That will soon be more than I paid for them! Nothing about this in the description of the watch when I bought them.
