Fitbit Ace LTE Kids Smartwatch with In-App Calling, Messaging, GPS (Spicy)

My son is 9 (almost 10). I can’t put into words the peace of mind this watch gave me. I do not want to give him a phone at this age, but want him to start to experience some freedom. This allows him that. He is learning when to call, when to not. And is learning the “no questions asked” rule. If he wants me to come get him, I do. Period. However, that’s brings with it learning when he needs me and when he doesn’t. It tracks steps. I can track his location at any time. And only approved contacts can contact him. I love that it is not a phone number because no spam calls! Highly recommend!

The quality is amazing also has bumper case protect it from wear tear and it’s water proof. It’s good for kids if you don’t want them to be glued with a smartphone. It’s good that it encourages physical activity, challenges and exciting things to un lock new features it helps my son get exercise while having fun. His loving it!

She loves to send me fun messages with emojis. It’s super safe, secure, and easy to use. The fitness games are a great way to keep her moving. We are having lots of fun with this Fitbit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The band is durable and she loves it! Sizing is not an issue with velcro strap. Screen is large and easy to navigate. The subscription was half off and came with an extra band that unlocks more games. My 12 year old loves this item and is excited about getting moving! The charging is fast but doesn't last past 1 day it seems. I already use the family parental controls and it added the fitbit to that control panel effortlessly!

It's totally worth it, though! ◇ Perfect for kids for whom you don't want to equip with a smartphone just yet or if you don't want them taking the phone with them to various activities and running the risk of a million different things going wrong, but you still want a way to be able to contact them and know their location. ◇ Would be amazing for just above listed purposes, but it encourages physical activity with fun challenges, games, and exciting things to unlock. Also, the bands snap into the watch face and can be changed to unlock new characters, themes, games, etc. ◇ I love that the design is modern and sophisticated and looks more "adult" than childish. The watch itself is solid, secure, and durable. The watch comes with a snap on protective cover for the watch face, but my son did find that to make the watch a little bulky. ◇ The watch charges quickly, and we find we only need to charge once daily at the end of the day. ◇ I'm totally impressed. I'd absolutely recommend this watch to parents looking to provide their children with a way to stay connected, know their location, as well as encouraging physical activity, but don't yet want to provide them with a smartphone or don't want them to carry the smartphone around with them just yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid loves it! Long lasting batteries. She encouraged to move in order to access the games. She can message me for emergencies, which is helpful because her school doesn’t allow phones out. Only thing I did not like is you HAVE to pay for a subscription to get internet on it and I cannot add a contact by phone number, it has to be a Gmail account. It’s comfortable, durable and cute!

Text on screen very small. tried calling and texting watch when we were outside (not on wifi) and app wouldn't work on parent phone. Only connected when watch and phone were together on wifi which defetes purpose of watch. Not easy or logical to get to call/message on watch. Kid can put watch on do not disturb easily and by mistake.

I'm disappointed in this kids fit bit because I think the technology used for the battery life on this kids Fitbit is old technology. The battery only last for 1 day to 1 1/2 days. The regular fix bit that I have battery life last for days. It is my opinion this kids Fitbit should have had the same battery life technology as the regulate fit bit. Very disappointed in this.
