Peace of mind granted!

clc2 November 13, 2025

My son is 9 (almost 10). I can’t put into words the peace of mind this watch gave me. I do not want to give him a phone at this age, but want him to start to experience some freedom. This allows him that. He is learning when to call, when to not. And is learning the “no questions asked” rule. If he wants me to come get him, I do. Period. However, that’s brings with it learning when he needs me and when he doesn’t. It tracks steps. I can track his location at any time. And only approved contacts can contact him. I love that it is not a phone number because no spam calls! Highly recommend!

Good Fitbit

justiceinfluencer July 13, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old boy loves this Fitbit, he sees I have a smart watch and always wanted one of his own and now he is excited to have this. He says it’s better than mine. He plays sports and works out with the family so this is much needed and we can also stay track of him too.

Track your little ones

jereds June 13, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome. The watch makes moving fun. The games at the beginning is a cool way to make the learning process for the watch much more fun. I like the plastic bezel that comes with it to make the watch more durable for the little ones who break everything. I really appreciate having tracking information for where my son is. He also loses his stuff a lot so I can track where he left it.

Awesome product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves her Fitbit Ace LTE, we were able to get the year subscription for about half regular price to be able to talk and text, the sound quality is very nice! She has given up her cell phone, which I like because this doesn’t have access to unwanted material. Completely safe!

Peace of mind

margaretmeletha July 9, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are trying to hold out on getting our daughter’s cell phones as long as possible. This Google Fitbit Ace LTE give us an alternative to still be in contact with them until we go the phone route. Pros: I can track location and it even tells me if the watch is being worn or not. This is super helpful so I know she didn’t just take it off and leave it somewhere. She can call or text up to 20 contacts that I approve. For now we are just limiting to mom and dad. Great peace of mind that I can stay in contact, see location, and know she isn’t being prey on the internet. Cons: a subscription is required to use the device. I know this is stated in description but sometimes you can still use a device without buying the subscription and just don’t get certain features. This device cannot be used at all without the subscription. Not even as a watch/step counter. You have to have a gmail to be a contact. Annoying that a contact can’t be setup with just a phone number or another email. Two watches can’t contact each other. So my two daughters can’t both have these and contact each other when they’re meeting after school on the bus. Setup was a challenge and I ended up getting two subscriptions bc it wouldn’t recognize the 1st when I needed to start over. I tried to setup to wear myself and get phone notifications like a regular Fitbit but that isn’t an option. Overall this could be a good fit if you’re aware of the limitations but there are also improvements to be made. For the price, I’m not sure this would be my first choice as there are a lot of smart watch options out there for kids.

Text on screen very small. tried calling and texting watch when we were outside (not on wifi) and app wouldn't work on parent phone. Only connected when watch and phone were together on wifi which defetes purpose of watch. Not easy or logical to get to call/message on watch. Kid can put watch on do not disturb easily and by mistake.

Do not buy!

Alena February 21, 2026

This watch is extremely inconvenient and poorly designed. First, you are required to pay a $10 monthly subscription just to enable basic features like messaging and location tracking. That alone is frustrating. Second, anyone you want to add so they can call or message your child must download and use the Fitbit app. Regular phone numbers cannot simply call the watch. For example, a grandparent cannot just dial the number — they must install the app and know how to use it. That makes it unnecessarily complicated. Third, if you get locked out of the watch, regaining access is nearly impossible. There is no simple hardware reset option. You are directed to Google support, which has not been helpful. Overall, the device feels unreliable and overly complicated. Between the monthly subscription cost and the limited functionality, it does not deliver enough value. I regret purchasing it and would not recommend it.
