Best. Investment. Ever. Changed my daily activity and challenges me to take those extra steps and always take the stairs. I also have the Fitbit Aria scale that tracks my weight and BMI which keeps me honest with my daily diet. The mobile app is the best! I can track all of my activities and my meals/calories. It's totally life changing and has forced me to live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
My boyfriend and I love our Fitbit Charge HR devices! (I bought one for him as a bday present and decided to get one for myself) We've become addicted to checking our heart rates during certain points of our day. I also really like the sleep tracker. I only had my Fitbit for a few days before 3 of my coworkers said OMG I'm getting one! Soon we'll all be in a competition to see who gets their 10k steps first.
I got it specifically for heart rate monitor,to watch my heart rate while working out. It has been fun the other features too, step count, sleep pattern, and doing challenges with my coworkers. So its nice to get all that and the heart rate monitor I needed. I do wish the stop watch stayed on the screen the entire time it was counting.
I had Fitbit charge before I get the Fitbit charge HR! What I liked about my previous Fitbit was it's band! This one I'm not very fond of but it still works great n it's more secure! I just liked the other one better cause it was simple! Battery life is great; it lasts for days!
Purchased this three weeks ago for my wife - I have the Fitbit Charge (no heart rate function). Unlike my Charge, which faithfully syncs with my Windows 10 laptop and automatically uploads the data frequently, the Fitbit Charge HR drops the sync after 12-15 hours. When this happens, I have to reset the Fitbit, then re-sync the device to the computer. This is a 10-15 minute exercise. The Fitbit HR stores the last 7 days data, so the info is not lost, but it is very inconvenient to have to periodically re-establish sync to capture the info on the computer. I'll do this once or twice more, then ask for a replacement under warranty if the problem persists. So - I give the device itself 5 stars, but the sync system 1 star - for a 3 star average.
My husband got me one in mid-July of this year. It worked for not even two days. I went to show it to a co-worker and when I tried the screen stayed black but the scanner was green. We Reyes to charge it but nothing changed. So I took it back to Walmart and exchanged it for another one. The second one I had worked for about 3 months. But the step counts always seemed to be very high. And it said that I was averaging about 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. This past week I went to charge it and once again it would not charge. Now I was out of my 90 days to return it so I had to go through the warranty that I had got with it. Not a good buy. I am going to try the Fitbit surge and see how that goes.
Bought this mainly to track the number of steps I take daily and have records of it to see my progress. I figured that for the price it should be very accurate. Wrong! To test it out I walked around my block (which is a tad bit over one mile) three times taking screen shots at the end of every lap to compare later on. Not only did this Fitbit indicate that I walked less than a mile every lap, the steps taken were not very consistent at all. At one point it was off by over 100 steps! So the next day I decided to take an actual pedometer with me as well to compare numbers and this is what I got: Pedometer: 1st lap - 2,296 2nd lap - 2,291 3rd lap - 2,292 distance walked - about 1.08 miles per lap Fitbit: 1st lap - 2,090 2nd lap - 2,153 3rd lap - 2,034 distance walked - less than 1 mile per lap... It bothered me that the numbers were too off and not consistent enough on the Fitbit compared to the pedometer so I returned it. Not worth the $100+. Needless to say that I'm very disappointed with this product. Only reason why I didn't give it a one star it's because I didn't use the other features so I don't know how well they work.
I have worn this for about a month the screen is already scratched up and I do not feel like it keeps up on my steps correctly I am constantly on the run and another thing when you're standing there holding a buggy with the kids in it and pushing it through Walmart it won't count the steps because your hands not swinging so I don't and won't recommend this product at all also it dies super fast I'm talking I have to charge it almost every night I want to track my sleep not charge it
Brand new, out of the box and the screen wouldn't come on at all. I tried everything to get it to work, even following all of the trouble-shooting instructions on the Fitbit website. Will be returning.
Would not sync with wither of my phones. I might be better off trying to get my Valiant smartwatch to charge again, it actually connected, plus it was only $15.
