Purchased for a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. The included trim tool worked well to remove the original mirror housing. The included wiring adapter tucked in nicely within the housing but the plug end that plugs into the attached end on the mirror was super snug--thought it was the wrong pinout for a few minutes--tried to pull it apart to verify I wasn't bending any wire pins but had to use a wide flat blade screwdriver to separate the plug ends--the supplied plug end is just a smidge too wide to slide easily. Once I verified it was fine, I pushed them back together and continued the installation. The new housing takes some force to snap into place (more than I was expecting) but once it's snapped in, it's solid. The new secondary cover plate snaps into the new housing nice and tight and has some felt tape on spots to reduce/eliminate rattles (stock one had some slop and could rattle). Setting it up with the app was easy, just need to make sure to disconnect it from the vehicle wifi so it can connect to the camera wifi. Looks factory, has no rattles or fit issues (other than the one plug end), no visible cords, and picture is pretty clear although I'm not so sure about it being 4K--there is some pixelation in the lower corners on playback. I only wish they made these for some older vehicles--have a 10 yr old Acura I'd like to add one to.

Shipping time was reasonable, installed the dash cam within 10 minutes, supplied power cable is plug and play. Connected to my phone via wifi, video quality is actually quite good.

I had small issues installing this dash cam but it's worth the effort. Perfect fit on my 2023 GMC Sierra 1500.

The item description said it furnishes clear and 4K high resolution pictures but the video clips stored in the memory card are not as clear as advertised, e.g., cannot read licence plate numbers of the vehicles in front of my car. As installed, I am going to just keep it.
