Perfect fit on my 2018 Porsche Cayman S. Comes with everything you need to install (pry tool, wiring harness, 64GB U3 SD Card). Amazed at how flawlessly it integrates into the car. The video quality (4K) is as good as any dash cam you can find at Amazon. Wirelessly video captured content on your phone. Parking sensor activation works well. Conveniently view and download videos and snapshots from the app and also configure the camera settings.

The camera works exactly as it should. The plastic parts fit very well. Easy to assemble. Only the installation space to hide the Y-connection cable is very tight. However, this has nothing to do with the dashcam, but is due to Porsche's traffic sign recognition module, If this is not fitted, it is very easy to fit. Very good image quality! Installation and commissioning approx. 30-40min

It took me a long time to find the dash cam set up that I wanted. I read many reviews and saw many different opinions. This product was easy to install and I love the picture quality. And, their customer service is exceptional. I would recommend to anyone that asked me.

So far, so good, with my FitCamX. Installation using the Youtube video was perhaps a 2 out of 5 for difficulty - not "easy" but not "hard". It's a hard space to reach comfortably, but the trim pieces for my car came off relatively easily and my big fat fingers fit everywhere they needed to. Connecting to the app is fine, though I have to disconnect from Apple CarPlay in order to connect to the camera wifi. I'm surprised that the 4k video rate isn't the default. With the camera set to 4k and the included 64GB SD card I get about 1 week of video before it loops/overwrites itself, which is totally fine. It would be nice if there was some way to tag a time-interval to lock other than with the motion/accident sensor. Perhaps using the photo button? Either way, it works well so far. Thanks.

The camera and housing fit as expected and look neat and tidy once installed. The installation is fiddly and takes time and patience. I watched the video a few times and read the forums, both are useful. The official Fitcamx video runs a bit fast and has an annoying jingle playing. The camera works well, the app is a bit basic but functional, it would be nice to do firmware updates OTA and have a few finer options to the loop recording. After testing a few saved clips, I wasn't able to figure out how to delete them from the camera without formatting the card. Otherwise everything is good and is it reassuring to have it recording while driving and you quickly fit and forget.

Great product works well, the installation has changed since the video, so a little different but only in the first part, the Porsche covers are very tight and take time to remove, also replacing takes time, there is now a captive clip to remove on the middle cover. to do this remove the centre pin first and then the remaining clip will pull out, to replace reverse this procedure. You also have to disconnect the airbag light cable, remembering of course to reconnect. Once fitted it works very well and as a driver you cannot see the camera. A perfect solution to fitting a dash cam.

I am very satisfied with the dashcam. Works very well, takes very good pictures/videos! Fitting it to the Cayenne Coupe was really not easy. I had previously fitted a FitCamX to three other cars, it went much better there. The FitCamX is based on the original clip design. The mirror holder and the clip design from Porsche are somehow awkward and difficult to fit. Despite experience and help, it took me 45 minutes + x until it was properly fitted. After that you have an almost barely visible top dashcam. Despite the difficult installation, I am very satisfied.

One of the important things to me was not having to install another app on my phone to use this; I didn't have to. I was able to pop the card out, put it in my computer and just read it directly. (Even a Linux computer. The video files were nicely standard.)

I got a defective audio, but the video quality is great. I don't need the audio anyway. Customer service was great, too. They always respond to my questions. Got a refund for the defect. Overall, it's still a great product. It's better than OEM because it's concealed, no dangling wires to tuck in.
