Great Bang for the Buck

Ridzoman March 6, 2017

I've been looking at power cages for about 9 months now. The higher end cages are running $600 or more, while the mid-range cages run between $350-$450. Even the $350 cages I looked at had not-so-great reviews and more featherweight construction. When I saw this cage for $199 DELIVERED, I thought it was too good to be true. I checked online and read several good reviews, but noticed that other retailers were selling it for $260 on up. Anyway, I snatched it and I'm so glad I did. Assembly was pretty straightforward and took about an hour. I am very pleased with how sturdy it is. No, I didn't bolt it to the floor, and No, it doesn't wobble. There's a very slight sway when I'm doing pull-ups on it, but hardly enough to mention. And the bottom line is that it does the job when it comes to protecting me from dropping the bar on my chest while benching, etc. This cage would be worth $300 or more; for $199 it's a steal. Maybe too much so. I noticed a couple days after I ordered it that it was "out of stock" and is still "out of stock." The sent me an email asking me to review it, so I'm assuming they are planning to get more in. If they do, don't waste time ordering :)

Excellent Power Rack - especially for the price.

Bobb February 23, 2017

I read dozens of reviews about this rack before purchase and agree with every positive comment. It came quickly, I put it together in under an hour with 5 minutes of help from my wife as you join the two sides. All the bolts are the same size, organized into step one, step 2 etc. For a "home gym" it is fantastic. It looks awesome, and is as sturdy as it looks. I do a lot of P90X and for all the variants of pullups, this is way better than my free-standing "Stamina Power Tower" pull up stand that I have used for the last two years. I will only occasionally do squats and bench press with high weights, so that is really just a bonus for me. Love it and would buy it again!

Just what I was looking for

Happyhomegym March 4, 2017

Perfect for any home gym. Best bang for your buck. The weight limit is More than enough. You Can use for multiple different types of workouts. It's a incline, decline and flat bench, squat curl and pull-ups. Easy to assemble, Looks good too.

Perfect for the price!

JoshS February 13, 2017

I paid $169.00 for just the rack and at that price, it was a great deal! It wobbles from side to side a bit and it isn't heavy enough to stay in place when you're racking a heavy bench but overall I would say it's great. You could bolt it to the floor and it would be great. However, the J hooks are the only downfall. They work just fine but I purchased a set from Titan fitness that hang down so the bar is at a better height for the bench press. I still use the other ones for squats and military press.

tough to beat for $200 and under

WaldoF March 5, 2017

...and that includes delivery. I can not say whether or not the 800 lbs stated capacity is overly optimistic, but for my first set of Olympic weights to 300 lbs, this power cage seems up to the task...

Better than I thought

Crossfitter May 4, 2017

I was hesitant because of the price point being so low and others on Amazon complaining about miss placed items and poor packaging. This was far from the case I have experienced. Item came packaged very well and all items clearly marked. Item ships from city of industry in ca. I live in cali so item came in a few days. Functionality is great. I paid 155 but would have gladly paid 250 for this quality rack. Assembly was seamless. Rack shakes a little if you push with force but for the intermediate lifter it's fine. Would buy it again!

Good value

BigD February 20, 2017

I bought the rack and bench combo for like $255 to the front door. The rack is an excellent value for $169. My box looked like it had been though heck and back when it arrived and one of my uprights was slightly dented and also bent a bit. Not the manufacturers fault and I would still recommend to others for the price. The bench is well built and solid, but I would not recommend it because it does not sit level when in the flat position. The head of the bench sits a full inch lower than the foot in the flat position. Kind of surprising they didn't catch that design flaw before manufacturing. Who wants a bench that can't be adjusted flat and level? Disappointing to say the least.... Buy the rack and pass on the bench.

Overall good rack

WarriorStatus March 3, 2017

The rack was pretty easy to put together. The instructions said a professional should do it but with enough time anyone can. I put it together by myself. It works great for me.
