The item doesn't cover the seat fully as it says. With the extended flaps there is more coverage but not enough to cover the full seat. It is completely under the car seat but barely. The flaps are the only part that comes out beyond the base of the car seat. If a spill or any crumbs it's definitely going on the seat so no full protection. My daughter installed otherwise I wouldn't have kept. Also the securing straps go around the headrest attachment poles so the head rest will not go down all the way and in my vehicle (4 years old) it's between locks for safety and us a big eyesore.

These are very easy to install. They just need to be a little thicker or more padding.

The material is very good, it protects the seats when you have dogs or if someone eats something in the car, but I'm disappointed because the supports break, when you sit on them many times, the supports come loose, it literally didn't last even a week.
