If you are tired of not being able to eat all food because you wear demtures. Using Fixodent. you don't have to worry about avoid food again. I've tried several brands to keep lower dentures from moving. Usually the cream or strips last if lucky through most of my meal. I used the Fixodent on lowers and 12 hours has past and they are still holding. I ate kettle chips and they didn't move. I spread a thin layer of the adhesive cream through out my denture with my fingers then I pressed my dentures with my finger then my teeth for a few minutes. I waited 30 mins to eat or drink. I love original Fixodent. Thank you BzzAgent for sending me a free tube. Over the years I have tried other brands of denture adhesive and none works as well as the Fixodent brand. The hold is long lasting, no oozing, it's just wonderful. This is the brand my dentist recommended when I first got my dentures, and it has always been the best for me. I really like this product. It holds my dentures in place all day just like it advertises. I suggest you only use a small amount at a time, so it doesn't overflow over the top of your dentures. I was excited to receive my fixodent original. I have used other brands in the past. One huge plus for me was the fact Fixodent has no zinc. After I used the fixodent I went out to dinner. Ta da no slipping. Wonderful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I'm not overly impressed with Fixodent. I've used Fixodent Plus with Scope in the past and liked it better due to taste, but I don't find that Fixodent lasts all day. It would last until dinner and then as soon as I bite something or eat something chewy my dentures come loose. In order to get it to last all day I have to use more which can tend to ooze out. I got a free tube of Fixodent Original to try as a BuzzAgent. I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't any different than other adhesive products I have used. Fixodent Original does hold well, lasts all day, and there is no unpleasant taste to it, BUT there is no added advantage over other adhesives. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Maybe it's just me but I have yet to find a denture cream that I like or that works. I truly went into this with an open mind. I have upper and lower dentures. The upper never needs an adhesive.
