This is my second flag with Dynamic Brands. I went with the 20" flag this time around and mainly because it has better pieces to hold the flag in place. The older one I had they had the metal pieces that you have to squeeze and pinch to adhere to the flag. So far so good!! Took it out for the first time at the beach and worked great!
Excellent product. I had concerns with it staying in the sand or collapsing on itself, but didn't have any issues. Highly recommend.
I have had this flag pole fora couple weeks. Just put it up camping yesterday. I have a problem with extending part of the sections. Hope to figure it out. It is what we want for our camper. The 3 x 5 US flag o bought for it has too small of grommets for this flagpole. But I did use wire ties to fasten it. Love the material it is made of , won't rust ( aluminum).
The idea is good, but they break easy. You have to tighten the sections in order for them to stay extended, but they strip out easy when trying to get them tight. Then your only choice is to throw it away, or tape the section(s) that will no longer tighten.
I got the large flagpole and rarely ever extend it the full amount. Gillette Stadium is super windy and the thing doesn't appreciate the wind. The pole is meant to bend a little bit in the wind, but strong gusts causes it to yield and you have to physically bend it back with your hands. Overall, it's not the greatest thing in the world but it works for what I need it for.
Ripped it outta the box and slapped on a 4x6 flag... It was a pain in the rear getting the clips apart to put the flag on but ill bet its just as hard for it to get ripped off in the wind. The pole held just fine with the 4x6 but it had a heck of a bend to it... i planned on using 2 flags on it but not too sure the pole in the wind can take the abuse. But SO FAR so good... will update with more use!
Flagpole drops down over time in the wind, not easily locked in place when adjusting height
This flagpole was advertised to bundle with a solar light. Top does not come off. No way to install light. Bought to use with my travel trailer. Might work for couple hour tailgate party, but too flimsy and hard to extend for longer use. Sent back after one set up.
The base is well made and the lower part of the flag pole fits in fairly well. The upper portion of the flag pole is kind of cheaply made very small in diameter and the clips are not easy to use and top one slid down the one and only time we used it. I will be looking for a larger diameter pole to put in this base. Buy with caution. You get a nice base but the pole is not great
The flagpole didn't not extend completely. Since it was purchased through a vendor from Walmart.com, it was not eligible for return to the store. I emailed the company (wayfair.com) and shipped it back. Now I'm being charged for shipping. I just paid $13.66 for nothing.
