Flame King 2 Burner Built-in RV Trailer Stove with Windshield

It replaces an old stove/ oven in my pop up camper. I had to make a new countertop for it but I did not need an oven anyway. I was worried about being thicker than my old one when the camper was closed but it worked just fine. Much less expensive than other two burner countertop stoves for campers and works great, plus has a built in cover.

It seems to work well. Installation was not very difficult. About average. I installed this in my small teardrop camper. There were zero instructions, so I needed to make some inferences, but for the cost it was fine. I've not tested this significantly but, but will in a couple of weeks on a multi-day camping trip.

Manual with stovetop gave incomplete information. Male flare fitting (to connect to hose) is 3/8". Manual only discusses 5/8" flare fitting - which has no bearing on installation.

Fit perfect in Casita existing opening. Other 2 burner cooktops were too big

Our old cooktop developed a gas leak so we replaced it with this one. It was a perfect fit, easy to install, looks as good as the original one, plus it has an igniter on it which our previous cooktop didn't have. All dimensions of the item were shown on the listing and this enabled us to select the correct replacement unit.

Burners don't turn down low enough, very little change from high to low. Knobs close to front burner get hot.

quality 5 star. use ability 3star.. why?? flame can NOT be turned down enough to keep from instantly burning everything unless you constantly stir and i mean constantly. no simmer no simmer

Didn't stay lit

Very light weight materials/construction. Comes with cover, but no instructions for attachment either to counter or burners. The larger burner is oval-shaped not round as it appears in picture. Many reviews indicating that scales for knobs come off easily and adjustment to flame strength poor/non existent.

Stove itself looks great and well built,but no screws to put it together were included in and the holes for the wind screen were not present. Customer service redirected me to a voice mailbox and when I tried to call back no one would answer the phone and once again it went to voicemail. Not a very good start.I expect something I buy to have all components in the box that the instructions tell me to use to put it together and I expect all holes to be predrilled with a pilot hole at the very least. And if not I think it should be made right!
