Works as intended. I place them in the freezer first to get the temp of the empty canister below the one I will use to fill it. Takes about a minute
saves a lot of money do not have to throw away the old canisters real handy
The propane tanks arrived in a timely manner and were packed well.
They worked great for me and were easy to refill.
Nice construction. Easy to fill and comes with a nice screw on lid to protect the top.
Great product at a great price easy to fill filled two in two minutes!
my husband loves the refillable tanks. likes not having to repeatedly having buy more.
Would have been 5 stars except for the cost. BUT... still a good value saves a ton of money over the disposable bottles (while doing the environment a solid)! Easy to fill. Easy to use, just like the disposables.
and these crazy economic times it's definitely better to refill a propane cylinder rather than buy a new one. but Flame Kings' execution of the concept is a little sloppy. despite following instructions propane does tend to spray out everywhere. also disconnecting the refillable cylinder from the burner tends to vent a lot more propane compared to disconnecting a disposable cylinder. it makes me wonder if a recall isn't coming down the line at some point.
I really wanted to like these since they were cheaper than the other brand of refillable bottles and they don't require a proprietary valve to fill them. Unfortunately the quality just isn't where it needs to be though. One of the bottles I ordered has some sand or something from the manufacturing process rattling around in it, and both bottles' bottom ring is slightly too short, so they won't sit flat on the table.
