This is a fantastic drafting table that is functional, great looking, and suitable for all levels of artistic experience and talent. It is very rugged and not too difficult to assemble, which takes about 45-60 minutes. It is very stylish and fits into any modern/rustic living space with like decor and very sturdy to work on. The standard ground shipping was incredibly fast and well packaged. I could not recommend a better table, and this is after extensive research through Dick Blick and other art supply catalogues. Go ahead and buy one, you will not be disappointed! The photo included with this review also has the burgandy drafting table also available from Wal-Mart online.

I bought this table for computer, sewing and work use. I had to put it together by myself--directions in pictures not words--I did it myself in about an hour and half looks great, is very sturdy and serves a multitude of uses

overall my son loves this table, but i was disappointed that 2 plastic pieces were broken and 2 corners of the table were chipped straight out of the box. he was so excited to finally have a drawing table that he wouldn't hear of returning it for another one.

This drafting table is well worth the money, the only issue I see is that is does not have a lip at the bottom of the table to stop drawings or etc. from rolling off onto the floor.

If I didn't own a tap and die set this would still be laying on the floor unassemblied. It is hard to put together took longer then I wanted to spend on a Sunday. It looks fine for someone to hobby with or something like that. Instruction could use some written instructions. Pictures only and not very good at that. If you can't assembly a car from stratch you might want to rethink your purchase.

A great value. Sturdy construction. Needs better pix on the rice-paper assembly instructions...I put the shelf on backwards and had to turn it around because the small view was confusing. Table is not wobbly like I expected, and the top tilts about 30 degrees - not as far as I had hoped. Got my drafting machine bolted on without a hitch and am looking forward to many hours using this table. It might be I got the catches on upside down, but once I got the table tilted I got to take the nuts off the bottom to get it down...not a problem for me since I will never put it down again. Again, better pix would help, even with magnification I could not see enough detail in the drawings. My only beef is the instructions...The table is a superb platform for drawing and a great value. I did put the caps on the pencil tray too tight and cracked the caps when I tried to slide them out...make sure you fit the tray to the table before hammering the first cap on, or it will bee too short. I guess they figured only an idiot could screw up the pencil tray and I guess they were right, but more concise instructions would have helped. Also, the height screws for the legs should have a radius on the end of the threads to find the holes in the legs...it's really tedious if you need to change the height often...that's easily remedied with a file or grinder. Don't let me talk you out of buying one, they are really nice - once you get it one assembled properly. Awful, awful, awful. I work as a cartoonist and felt it was time for a new drafting table, my wife suggested I look on Wal-Mart.com because they have everything. I am more dissapointed in this product than I believed possible. First off, most drafting tables have a simple knob on each leg that you twist in order to adjust the height. With this product you have to completely un-screw each knob, adjust the table, find a hole, replace knob. That is if you're lucky. On each back leg there is a lazily welded on nut that you screw the knob through, then a hole beneath that for the screw to simply slide through, on mine the nut on each leg is completely misaligned with the hole. So I can't even put mine together unless I get all McGyver with it. I also have noticed that every time I went to screw something in, the holes were misaligned! Oh yeah, and unless you have access to a power drill you're going to have a miserable time doing this. I will say the instructions were easy to follow and the picture of the table on the box is very pretty, so instead of using the table that I spent a good chunk of change on, I just stare at the picture of what it should look like! I bought this table because 1) it looked cool and 2) Because the reviews were so good. So maybe I received a lemon, but maybe I should watch out for potentially loaded reviews.

Product arrived with multiple damaged/broken pieces (desk top, ruler, height adjustment handle...). Pre-drilled holes where feet screw on are misaligned. Otherwise not terribly difficult to assemble. Good height and desk top angle adjustment. Desk top is very slick and there is nothing to stop things from sliding off if the angle exceeds the first few notches. At least it looks good. Will probably exchange in hopes that the next one won't be in such condition.

The instructions are horrible. Once the table is angled, it cannot be brought back down -- we need two people to do that. Took almost half a day to assemble this thing because the holes on the wooden piece were too small. Very complicated and delicate. CHEAP! DO NOT BUY!
