These look significantly better in person than online. I took a chance because they were budget friendly and was VERY surprised at how trendy they are and how much better they look in person. These adjust and can work for a shorter counter or bar. The lift works great (but remember to sit on them to get them to lift). I have mine at the highest height due to the extra tall counter. If you measure about 9" down from your counter and take note of where that lands.... from the floor to that spot is the seat height you will need.

When I sit in a regular "office chair" my neck and shoulders tighten up within 30 minutes causing tension headaches. But with this chair that doesn't happen. I use it at a standup desk, the chair at its full height. I alternate between sitting and standing and my neck, shoulders and back no longer cause me trouble. After decades of trying different ways to work comfortably at a desk, I finally found the answer in this chair.

I love this stool. Super easy to put together. It adds a little pop to my kitchen. The fact that the height can b adjusted is awesome.

hydrolic handle broke first try. there are no clear instructions saying what needed to be done to have the chair work properly. I now have to take the top off and use the hydraulics in an improvised way.

Lever did not work to adjust the height. Plus on the side of the seat it look like it was damaged

This is the second time I got this barstool and it's broken. Not ablepush it up and down
