Affordable 3D printer. Took little effort to set up … important to place printer on the floor so it is stable enough to finish prints. After we figured out the printer needs to be on the floor we have had zero issues. Children use it. Simple and easy.

There are a few things that drove me nuts when I first started. Finding where you could find prints, (printables.com) why it kept going off line,(always make sure you're logged in or your pc won't find the printer) and the basics of how to use. I ended up finding most of my answers online, either from youtube or flashforge. Once I got that figured out, I have little to no problems. Buying filament is easy from amazon, wm or flashforge. This is my first XP with 3d printer so for that part it wasn't so bad.

This is my first printer I bought it on the 8th of January but when I was setting up my enclosure, the touch screen dropped and the cable snapped off and it won't go back in so I called up the support and they gave us a new cable and screen yesterday. The screen and cable problem didn't last a month and I could still print without it. Im giving this review a 4 instead of a 3 because I was excited and still happy to have this printer. I added a couple images to show the problem if others had this problem.

The flashforge 3D printer has been a wonderful gift for my kids ages 10-18. It was easy assembly even for beginners like us. The instructions are clear just follow them and you should have no problems. It comes with about 6 3D files in the system already ready to print and if you go to their website theres a few more. The only thing that it does not mention is that all 3D files are in STL format therefore in order for you to print you need to use a slicer software. That way all STL formats can be slice and transform into .gcode format once that is done you can send it directly from the computer to the printer or use a USB to inserted to the printer and download the files. Thats its your good to go once you get familiar doing everything it easy to do and print anything you want. Overall my kids love it and they think is so much fun to be able to creat their many designs.

Seems to be good quality, but was very difficult to get software set up due to apps not being available in playstore. Also have difficulty getting print files to pull over to Flashforge software. Overall good printer but software interface could be much better and make it easier for beginners.

was cool to get. on our 3rd thing to make it quit feeding halfway through the object. i contacted the seller and was told to return it to Walmart for a full refund. Been waiting over a month since ive returned the item and still no refund. This is theft. they said no more that 2 weeks when i returned the item!

I have been using 3-D printers for almost 5 years. This printer was easy to set up, and everything started off great. But after about the third or fourth print, every single job would not start because of some new random error. So many errors, feeding errors, loading errors or tip errors or random error error error, error so many errors and I've not successfully printed anything in over a month now. Total waste of money. Do not buy this printer. Also when you try to call their customer service line. No one answers. Do not try. Do not buy.

Work for about a month then just stopped working. Trouble shooter they sent me new nozzle didn't work. Took a week for that didn't resolve it so now having to send it back and won't get a replacement until they get it back at the warehouse. So total time will be another two weeks. So almost a month without this printer. Too long of a return. Process and customer service takes forever ever to respond because of the time difference.

Hard to setup, all directions foreign in foreign language on website and needing to download multiple apps. Could not get past leveling and loading filament. Purchased the setup support and found out that they do not help with 3D printers. Had a hard time getting that refunded. Not worth the time and money.

We bought this for our daughter in April, it printed 4 pre-loaded options successfully, one of the same a couple of times. Then we downloaded the software recommended. When we tried to print the printer immediately started making-functioning. It would print and then I guess “over heat” and then the material would get stuck. We were able to clean it out and re-start a couple of times, even replaced a piece after trouble-shooting. It'll print an item and then it jams again and quits working. We invested in a not cheap option thinking it would be better and it's not a very large paper weight. Would not buy again and hoping people buying Christmas gifts will find this review helpful.
