Flashpoint 400PRO is well-made, compact design, and super easy to use. In many ways it works just like an over-sized and many-times more powerful speed light -which is good. The TTL Is very good.<br />C-stand is super high quality and perfectly suitable as a Mathews/Avenger replacement.<br />Umbrella is very well made. It?s large and very deep. Mounts like a soft box. Lots of versatility to change quality of light with the included baffle, front screen and grid all removable.
The 400 pro performs as excepted and more! The c stand is very sturdy, I?d still recommend sandbags or a kettle bell if using the boom arm in unbalanced positions. The softbox provides amazing soft light! Not too harsh but just right given settings are set appropriately.
Light is great in studio or on location. Good variety of lighting quality with the diffusion layers and grid.<br />Softbox is quite large which might be a consideration for hobbyists with multi-purpose studios.
These products have been easy to use and set up. I have used these products for headshots & creative sessions. The quality is remarkable and I definitely recommend if you are needing a powerful lighting system.
Perfect kit for setting up a large key light for full body or group shots. If you want all 3 items anyway, the kit can provide great savings.

Great value package! The combination of a second AD400, C-stand, and deep parabolic modifier is what I needed.

Only thing I would change is the soft box is to large. Other than that's it's an amazing deal.
Useful light, much lighter, portable than my ad600BM, and doesn't blower over as easily.<br /><br />But with HSS and trying to "overpower the Sun" first time, even at full power, it is no match for my 600W.<br /><br />Not surprising I guess.
