I don't know why there is so many negative reviews. maybe don't cook it right? I BBQ mine leaving slightly pink, the most tender ( next to filet at way less cost) and flavorful steak. ive never been disappointed. sometime a little smaller, just consider one steak per person. I have never had a bad steak. ( a hint, always use granulated garlic when I cook beef.) im a satified customer so farm

ive had flat iron steaks before jst not this small lol though id give it a try for the price, ty Wal-Mart im sure its gonna be great with mushrooms %26 onions ty

This is a great steak! I cube it into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Air fry @ 400° for 6-7 minutes for a medium rare! Sadly, my walmart has stopped carrying this one, which is a shame as I purchased it every week.

ive bought flat iron steaks from Wal-Mart before, but the tenderness of the cut wasn't as good. (even though I cooked them the same way) Ive bought them twice now and both times they were very good! The only change I'd like ti see is the packaging. Please put 2-3 lb cuts in some of the packages. I have to buy 2 packages, at less than 1/2 lb each, to still get less than 1 lb of steak. Ithen a bpaying for the packaging tray and I don't care for b that. Otherwise, the straks are very good, if you can catch them in stock! Wal-Mart, Please consider the larger portion packages, and having them in stock more often! If you haven't tried the flat iron steaks, you're missing out!!

We make Cuban ropa Vieja in our insta pot with this meat and it's absolutely undeniable the best tasting meat for this dish. We buy two so we have for dinner and left overs. We Don't normally buy steak due to its cost but when making this specific dish this is our go to meat. Highly recommended!

I have to watch my fat intake, so bought this to share with my son, giving him about 2/3. His first bite he was smiling. He hates fat, which there was zero, and he said it had better flavor than any steak he's ever eaten. I pan seared it in butter with just salt and pepper. it was the best home cooked steak I have ever made. It came out perfectly medium rare. It was tender, flavorful, and almost melted in my mouth. My son ate every bite. I highly recommend. It was well worth the extra few dollars.

First time eating a flat iron steak. I cooked it to a medium rare and it was perfect. Tender, juicy, very good taste. Just the right of marbling. I don't know why I've never tried this cut, although it's not easy to find. I gave it four stars because if the high price. It was was not a lb and was over $7.00. Too expensive for a family. However, I plan on splurging again, when I can. I am asking Walmart to please not to cut the steaks so small. Oh, I seasoned with salt/pepper. That's it. Please don't overcook and let it rest.

At first I was disappointed that we got a half a lb instead of a full lb.. because I couldn't feed my family with a half a lb. But then once I made it, it was extremely chewy with an unusual texture and I knew I'd have a hard time getting anyone to eat it anyway. Not something I would purchase again. Next time I will try skirt steak for the fajitas. I just hope they send a full lb next time.

the flat iron steak that was sent to me didint look nothing like the picture,l brought 4 of them and 2 was itty bitty and one was four $6 dollars and change and the other one ead ok.l know that sizes very but that ead ridiculous. l spend too much money with walmart to get something like thst l brought 4 for 4 different people and it looks like something for a baby or child. very disappointed

Shame on you, Walmart. I needed 1/2 lb of Steak to make Beef Stroganoff for my friend and I. This package looked "ok" on the outside, but when you opened it and turned it over it was 98% gristle. I got 4 tiny pieces of edible meat. I paid 7.00 for this and got 10 cents worth of meat. What a con to hide all the gristle on the bottom. It was throughout the entire piece, and I couldn't even salvage enough to cook anything with. I am 80 yrs old and on low income. I was making this meal as a gift. How dare you. Next time I buy a steak from you, I will make them open the package to see the back. Ruined my dinner party. Wasted my money.
