The first inline circular saw and The only in its kind even after 3yrs. Its well balanced, weight distribute on the handle axle. Its light weight, and taler handle makes you reach further higher, good for daily use and carry out. The dust port is excellent and the dealbreaker compare with most 6-1/2. Cutting depth equal to most 7-1/4. The view for cutting is perfect for both hand use. Its quite. The only problem for me is flex not left a lot in canada market and i have not place to add more batteries for this platform.( cant ship from usa)
I am extremely happy with my new 6 1/2 inline circular saw. I purchased it to replace a Dewalt 6 1/2 circular saw. My new Flex saw far out performs the Dewalt it is replacing. Being an inline saw the depth of cut is the same as a 7 1/4 saw. I strongly recommend this saw.
I was skeptical about this saw but,not now after using it so much power a d soft start. Good weight for all day use, design and performance are unmatched for this size of saw, it is my go to saw cuts just about anything never stalls or gets stuck while cutting. Thanks Andrew
I like it! The most unexpected feature.. the wonderful dust port to keep sawdust from flying into your eyes (outside) and about the best/easiest dust collection (inside). I also like the fantastic maneuverability, best of any saw any manufacturer to see your cut as you make it. Higher blade speed and unexpected plunge depth for a 6 1/2 are two other positives.
I have owned this saw for about 6 months and it is Absolutely hands down the best circle saw l have ever used I choose it over my new milwaukee circle saw now. I am a builder and me and my guys have put this saw though the ringer and it still cuts like new flex has really made me a believer
The FLEX 6-1/2" In-Line Circular Saw is a perfect example of FLEX engineering at its finest. For a compact saw, this thing is incredibly powerful it cuts through wood like butter with zero hesitation. Whether I'm ripping lumber, trimming plywood, or making quick job-site cuts, the saw delivers smooth, controlled, and precise results every single time. The in-line design gives it excellent balance and natural control, making it feel comfortable and stable even during tougher cuts. FLEX tools are known for performance, and this one is no exception, clean cuts, minimal vibration, and plenty of power packed into a surprisingly small body. Overall, this FLEX circular saw is a high-performance, reliable, and extremely efficient tool. If you want a compact saw that cuts fast, clean, and with impressive precision, this FLEX model is a standout.
Excellent build quality. No fragile cheap plastic. Cutting through 2x4s like butter. Plywood no problem. Have not cut anything thicker than 2x4's. 3/4 inch plywood is easy to get through. Love adjustable dust shoot. Flex tools are as powerfull as any and compared to other brands, are built tougher. Ive accidentally ran over a flex drill and baytery, battery got a scruff mark. Works perfectly.
I've purchase (2) Flex circular saw, the 7 1/4 inch heavy duty blade and 6 1/2 inline saw and I have nothing but high praise for both saws. The price is just right, the ergonomics is awesome “ love that omni directional dust exhaust port”, powerful and it's just have a great feel. I can't wait for Flex to make a Track saw.
It has so much torque. I use it with my 6.0 AH Stacked batteries and man can you push this little beast through plywood. Second only to the 60v Dewalt which I also own but it is impractical to use the bigger Dewalt when I can already push this little Flex so hard
Build quality and power is great it cuts through everything with an impressive ease. However, the angle of the handle is only comfortable when the blade is set for the deepest cut. I wish they put the battery with the bulk of weight where the front guide handle is, and adjust the angle of the main handle down, so it is within the comfortable range through all the depth of cut. The guide notch on the shoe is aligned to the left side of the blade, which is a wrong side of kerf as a right hander. I'm glad I bought this but there are things I wish were different/better. But there aren"t any other brands of a saw that does it better for me anyway. I hope Flex makes blade left track saw. I would definitely buy that when it becomes available.
