Flex Paste Super Thick Rubberized Paste, 8.75 fl oz, White

It does all it says it can do. I have had leaky skylights for over a year and have tried various ways to stop the leak. Need I say more? Flex Paste sealed them up. I am going to get two more tubs of it, just to even out the job, now that the first application has set.

We put it on top of our toy hauler which had leaked the previous year. It was a chore prepping it and our friend who lives in it did a fantastic job painting wherever there was a possibility of water seeping in. Two days after competition we had a big, long storm, and all is well! I was worried about my friend and my nice toy hauler, but all is well!

I had to cover up a couple of cracks so water wouldn't leak in and the flex tape helped keep the water out, it's a great quick fix. I suggest getting a putty scraper that's narrow enough to fit into the tub. Apply a thick enough coat, let it dry fully for a full day. Go over it the next day just for extra coverage. You have to read the directions and keep the foil on it and silica gel packets so the entire tub doesn't dry out. This is very important. It's a good price and I had some left over just in case I need it in the future. I recommend it!

I bought both Flex Seal spray and Flex Paste at the same time. The Flex Seal spray worked great, and turning the can upside down and spraying until it clears after each use allowed me to use the spray, a little at a time, over a 2 week period without any clogging. The Flex Paste came with about an inch thick ring of the paste hardened at the top. Using the suggestions of leaving the remaining paste level and resealing with the protective foil and silica pack allowed me to use a little at a time over a two week period without any further hardening or waste. Luckily I didn't need that amount that was hardened when it was delivered. But yeah, it worked great layering it on every other day, allowing each layer to dry between coats.

When I got the jar the outside of the paste was already hardened. About 1" around the jar. I used the inside of the jar and it was ok. I am not good at stuff like this and then I saw the spray kind and that is what I should have ordered to begin with!

This is a great product..... however, only 3 Stars because I expect to get what I pay for! I purchased the 6 lb. tub, so I expected to get 6 lbs of usable product. But when I opened the container I found a dried ring approximately an inch and a half wide and deep around the top of the tub. I paid for 6 lbs but only received 5 lbs of usable product. This not the first time either. I have purchased a total of three of the 6 lb. tubs and three 1 lb. sizes over the last two years and ALL of them have the same issue. So, if you need the amount you paid for you will need to order and pay more or purchase another brand.

I was disappointed in this product. I was unable to achieve a smooth finish. When I tried to smooth it out, it would pull away from where I had applied it. Part of the product was dried out when I opened the jar. It may have been sitting on the shelf for a long time before it was sold.

When I first opened the container, the paste was already cured around the edges. Used some and sealed it as directed for future use. When opened, the remaining product was solid. Very disappointed.

The first time I opened the container, the product was solidified probably close to 3/8 -1/2 inch completely around the edge. It did not appear that it had been opened previously. Because I live more than 20 miles from the store and I wanted to get a rather small but important job done, I tried to use the remaining product in the middle. Difficult to work with in a setting where I couldn't see the repair area. A fresh container may be easier to work with but unlikely that I will try it again.

it's not no good it's hard and it has never been open until today was going to use it on repairing of a door on the house I'm trying to sell and it's hard it won't come out
