My family has used these FlexKold gel packs for the past 15 years since my daughter had emergency surgery for a bad fibula break. For the week in the hospital these same ice packs around the clock were what helped ease her pain along with the meds. The size and shape was just enough to cover her injury. Actually i bought these for my horse to ice his hooves. A bit tricky to get attached around them to stay put. But once I get them on they wrap around nicely and seem to stay put. At leastaslongastheyneedto. Im sure they would work very well on a human too.

I like the fact that when it is frozen it is still soft and flexible The straps are wide enough to wrap the gellpack where ever it is needed. The extreme cold last the whole treatment time. It really helps to soothe the pain.

This feels good when it is cold; however it does not stay cold long enough. I have the clear gel pack type that stay cold for a lot longer. Also, not clear or easy to. Attach the Velcro straps had to just improvise. I do like that it has 2 different sides.

Too big. Only 2 large packs , no smaller packs as I had thought. Too heavy for me to use on my small hands and wrists. Quality looked good.

The ice pack's gel began to leak out from a seam about 2-inch wide.
