I received these back in August and just installed them last week. They were easy to put together and the instructions were good. They look great and do the job.

Fairly easy installation for the average handyman with the correct tools. Well built product that solved my storage problem.

our fault, I guess, for thinking this would be simple to install. Have to find studs, etc. Not the products fault really.

This product is made well. You really cant go wrong, until you try to install it. In order for this product to support the load of all your stuff and work as intended, there must be sufficient structural support available in the ceiling. In most traditional homes there is only roof rafter truss boards or engineered beams that support the subfloor above the garage. I DO NOT recommend drilling into the engineered beams supporting your second floor or roof rafters if you do not understand basic carpentry because if you measure wrong and drill too close to the boards edge, you can potentially cause serious injuries to your home, youself and your family. Learn how to do it yourself properly, or hire a good experienced handyman. If you hire a joker pretending to be a experienced repair person without insurance... you are taking a real risk suspending a static load over your car and anything anyone else walking through your garage space. Don't risk doing it half azzed. Its a good kit. Just gotta make sure you install it right.
