I got this, and some other survival things for my grandson's 13th birthday. He loved this the best!

Seems cheap. Rubber ring travels on metal match when removing from case. Then ring must be put in position near top before inserting match in holder. Don't see the seal lasting long going over the sharp threads.

i havent figured out how to get them to light. they work just like a flint and stone. maybe i ordered the wrong thing.

Don't waste your money. Be better buying a bic lighter

Cheap made cotton burns up quick not easily replaced

lit once, burned away the wick and was unable to use again

This was great for a week or so then it stopped lighting. It still sparks but it looks like the fluff on the end is gone. I'm taking it back

I opened my package to find a big crusty booger on the flint( We all know a booger when we see one,yes im sure it wasnt glue or something else). DISGUSTING! I threw it away immediately and tried the other one.Its poorly made and cheap,the fluid comes out ehen your striking which is another hazard and the small rubber band meant to keep it securly closed slides down so you have to fix every single time and get fuel on your fingers.Dont waist your time or money,youd do better with matches in a ziplock bag.

This item is good for emergency use only. It works a dozen of times and that's it
