I always keep a calcium supplement on hand for my hens to keep their eggshells thick and strong, so I decided to try this out instead of oyster shells because I like the USA sourcing.
My older hens were laying larger eggs with thin shells. This supplement has helped them produce stronger eggshells.
We spread this around the coop a couple times a week, the chickens eat every bite of it, and their eggshells are thick and healthy!
I've never given my chickens a calcium supplement before, but I've been finding some cracked eggs in the coop and so we're giving this a try!
So easy to feed to my chickens and they love it! It's really helping with their egg shell quality.
