Great product. Easy application and a quick hosing down. Mildew was gone in seconds. I would not believe it had I not used it. If you have green on your deck, on your vynal siding, gutters, etc. Highly recommended

Did a wonderful job making weathered, blackened cedar look like new again!

Can't say this helped the Trex appearance or not.

Don't believe the advertising. This product does not remove mold spots on cedar deck. Last year I sanded, treated properly and restrained my cedar deck. This spring I had mold spots after a very rainy winter. I treated the deck with the brightener product after reading the advertising and the Q&A that indicated it removed spots. Didn't work. Mold spots still present after treating deck 3 times with brightener product.

This Olympic product just did not work. I stained my deck two years ago and bought the brightener and was to get rid of mildew that had started growing on deck. I followed the directions and the results were not good at all. Very little mildew came off, what did come off was do to my scrubbing.

Directions say to keep the area wet, while you wait to scrub. Do I keep it wet with water, which i sprayed on 1st? Or the brightener? cause let me tell you this stuff will not cover 15 sq-ft. and then you really get no brightening. It did great on my large plastic rubbermaid box. green stuff came right off. The deck, not so much.

The product did not correct my problem but lightened the gray color tone of my deck, accentuating the darker water stains I was trying to remove.The Trex decking is discolored where the rain water puddles with leaf/needle bleed. This product did not remove the spots. I followed the instructions using a pump sprayer and a power washer at 2500PSI.

This was recommended to me by Trex to clean bird droppings from my deck. It did nothing.
