The part that touches your skin is NOT at all soft. IDK what kind of material it is, but it is very scratchy. I got it because the description said it was very soft. It's only soft on the outside that does not touch your skin. I have sensitive skin so I will be returning it. It's not anything like described except that it has pockets.
